As a seasoned observer of the entertainment industry, I must say that Perrie Edwards’ journey is a testament to resilience and adaptability. The former Little Mix member, at just 31, has already experienced the highs and lows of fame, navigated the complexities of solo stardom, and found love in the process.

On Instagram on Wednesday, Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain offered a peek at the fantastic Spiderman-themed birthday celebration for their son, Axel.

As a devoted fan, I’d share that on the special occasion of their son’s third birthday, the Little Mix singer and the footballer, both turning 31, went all out to celebrate. They transformed their luxurious abode into a festive scene with an array of red, black, and blue balloons.

Perrie and Alex beamed with joy as they serenaded their little bundle of happiness on his birthday, just before he extinguished the candles on his grand, two-tiered red cake.

Axel donned a T-shirt and shorts inspired by a Marvel character, while perched atop a chair, admiring the festive decorations around him.

On that memorable occasion, the duo chose to celebrate it within the comforts of their home, adorning their kitchen table with a Spiderman-themed tablecloth, coordinating dishes, and a piñata.

In one cozy corner of their home, Perrie and Axel were spotted striking poses near a massive balloon backdrop adorned with a life-sized cardboard cutout of a Marvel superhero.

The Forget About Us hitmaker wrote: ‘3 ALREADY! Where does the time go? It feels like 2 seconds ago I was holding you in my arms for the first time!

Having had the privilege of knowing and sharing moments with you, I can honestly say that your presence has been nothing short of a whirlwind of joy in my life! Your unique personality and spirit have left an indelible mark on me, and for that, I consider myself incredibly fortunate. On this special occasion of your birthday, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for being the biggest achievement in my life. Cheers to many more years of laughter, growth, and unforgettable memories together!

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, a former bandmate of Perrie, swiftly replied with the message: “Happy Birthday Axel” in her comments section.

Additionally, Perrie posted several sweet images showing Axel zooming around their backyard on a compact electric quad bike.

It comes after Perrie revealed the reason why she isn’t in a rush to get married to Alex.

The couple are yet to set a date after the footballer proposed two years ago.

During an Australian radio interview, Perrie expressed that the plan seems to be well-established in our thoughts, as we’ve both thought about it and discussed it frequently – with Alex taking the lead on this discussion, which is adorable since he’s particularly enthusiastic about making it happen.

‘He wants a party, a performer, he wants it to be a big thing. I’m like, I know who I want as bridesmaids and this and that. It’s all kind of set in stone but we haven’t actually planned it yet.

Perrie and Alex became parents to their son Axel in August 2021, and the singer, at age 31, expressed her desire to let him grow up first before involving him significantly in their future wedding festivities.

Currently, there are numerous activities happening in my life. With everything that’s piling up, it feels appropriate to hold off on having Axel serve as a pageboy until he’s a bit older. This timing seems more sensible.

Perrie, the artist behind hits like “Forget About Us” and “Tears,” shared that her debut album is still a work in progress.

She mentioned, “I know I can be frustrating at times, but I’m continually making progress. You only get one shot, and it needs to be flawless. Despite feeling as though I’ve completed it, there are minor adjustments I’d like to make yet.”

‘I will get there, it will definitely be pre-order this year I think.’

Last month, Perrie dropped her second single Tears, the follow-up to April’s Forget About Us.

Her debut solo track was number one for two weeks on the Big Top 40 chart and peaked inside the top 10 of the Official Charts.

In a different vein, “Forget About Us” is a pop ballad by Ed Sheeran that carries a hint of country music, while “Tears” delivers a smooth soul sound with an ’80s flavor.

In a recent podcast  Perrie revealed the ‘horrendous’ regret Little Mix had that almost caused them to get back together prematurely following their split in 2022.

Initially, she confessed that she, along with Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, felt a moment of panic when they decided to pursue a solo career.

The group was established during their time on The X Factor alongside Jesy Nelson in 2011. They eventually triumphed on the show, leading them to international fame.

After more than a decade of dedicated work, Perrie confessed that the girls found themselves incredibly bored following their separation, as they were now faced with an abundance of free time.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself frequently exchanging messages with my two dear friends, Leigh-Anne (age 32) and Jade (age 31). We often share our sentiments about growing restless from our sedentary routines, expressing that we’re “tired” or “worn out” of simply sitting idly around.

Reflecting on the past, I recall a day when we found ourselves at home, engaged in a lively WhatsApp conversation. We exchanged messages, expressing our shared sentiment of boredom, asking each other about our plans for the day.

Leigh-Anne might say, “I’ve had enough of this,” and Jade could respond, “Indeed, what made us insist on this again?”

And I replied, “Now we’ve accomplished it, let’s follow through with it.” Because at that moment, the idea of returning seemed strange and unfamiliar to us. It felt abnormal, almost surreal.

Initially, we were incredibly bored and found the situation unbearable. However, now I find great pleasure in doing nothing and excel at it. Frankly, I don’t believe I’d enjoy exerting myself too much. I appreciate both work and leisure equally. So, I think striking a balance is ideal for me.
