Mike is a genuinely friendly individual, and he expressed, “I understand your perspective and I find myself aligning with it to some extent. However, the manner in which you’re expressing it seems intimidating to others.”
‘I was like, “Why are they scared of me? I’m just another person in the office room”.
He explained that since it’s your program and your business, and you’re the one making the statements, they may assume you have the authority to dismiss them.
In response to my statement, he replied, “Actually, your words might not have been explicit, but the sentiment could be interpreted as displeasure. So, they may assume, ‘It seems he’s unhappy about something.'”
‘It hadn’t even occurred to me back then that that would be the way it goes and now it is.
In such a situation, instead of airing my concerns publicly, I prefer having a private conversation with the individual to discuss any issues or areas for improvement.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I find it essential to acknowledge that maturity comes with age, but it’s also influenced by societal shifts. We grow not only in years but also in understanding the world around us as it evolves.
‘Indeed, I’ve transformed into a more tender person compared to my past self, although I never considered myself as harsh before; however, I now recognize that there were aspects of hardness within me that I wasn’t aware of.’
