Carrie posted a photo that showed her standing in what appeared to be a chemist.
Carrie placed her thumb against the lens, revealing a partially torn part of her nail bed on her well-groomed thumbnail.
The nail also sported a hefty split in the middle with evidence that it had been bleeding.
Though she didn’t have any clear evidence, Carrie felt confident that she had identified the cause of her injury, and it was none other than the judge on Australian Idol, Amy Shark.
‘Amy Shark I blame you,’ Carrie cryptically captioned the picture.
Fans on Instagram swiftly sent their well-wishes to Carrie following her health issue at the awards ceremony, as she reposted the same picture.
