Loose Women’s Kéllé Bryan reveals agonising hospital dash after waking up at midnight with ‘awful and debilitating pain worse than childbirth’

On Tuesday’s episode of the ITV show, the singer, aged 49, vividly described the heart-wrenching incident when she had to rouse her son during the dead of night due to severe discomfort.
During a conversation about how women sometimes postpone visiting the doctor, Ruth Langsford, age 64, expressed concern towards Kéllé by saying: “You’ve recently experienced quite the medical alarm or worry!”
Later on the beloved ITV host elaborated on the sudden, intense pain that struck him after an ordinary day, and candidly confessed: ‘I recognized it because I’d had a brief brush with it two weeks prior, so I had a gut feeling – this is kidney trouble. That was my intuition. It feels worse than labor, striking me immediately and leaving me incapacitated.’
Ruth went on to inquire about the nature of the pain, to which she replied that it was becoming more intense and she couldn’t locate her phone.
In a critical situation, Kéllé explained: ‘Ultimately, I had no choice but to rouse one of my kids from sleep. I felt terribly about it, but I thought, this is an emergency. So I climbed the stairs on all fours and shook him awake.’
Initially, her son became frightened when he understood the gravity of the situation, yet she made every effort to calm him down.
She clarified: “I asked, ‘Mum, I really need your assistance. I need you to act maturely and lend a hand.’ After that, he responded, ‘Alright, what exactly is required of me?'”
Kéllé asked her son to phone their dad and request an emergency response while she waited for water and a bowl, because she was experiencing vomiting at that moment.
She recalled: ‘He was just, adorable, he was my absolute hero.’

14 years ago, Ruth and her husband Eamonn Holmes, who is now 64, announced their intentions to separate after being married for 14 years. It was later revealed that he had been in a relationship with relationship counselor Katie Alexander, aged 42.
In the Monday episode of ITV’s daytime program, the panel consisting of Ruth, Kéllé, Coleen Nolan, and Kelly Holmes conversed about the delight of discovering a friend who will be part of your life forever, specifically mentioning the unusual friendship between Dame Judi Dench and Jay Blade in their latest series.
