As I delve deeper into this intriguing tale of relationships and emotions, it’s clear that each individual involved has walked a unique path. Ruth, with her years of sharing laughter and experiences on-air, now finds herself navigating the complexities of a broken heart.

Kéllé Bryan discussed a recent health issue with her co-hosts on Loose Women, during which they learned about the courageous actions of her 12-year-old son, who stepped up as a true hero.

On Tuesday’s episode of the ITV show, the singer, aged 49, vividly described the heart-wrenching incident when she had to rouse her son during the dead of night due to severe discomfort.

During a conversation about how women sometimes postpone visiting the doctor, Ruth Langsford, age 64, expressed concern towards Kéllé by saying: “You’ve recently experienced quite the medical alarm or worry!”

Later on the beloved ITV host elaborated on the sudden, intense pain that struck him after an ordinary day, and candidly confessed: ‘I recognized it because I’d had a brief brush with it two weeks prior, so I had a gut feeling – this is kidney trouble. That was my intuition. It feels worse than labor, striking me immediately and leaving me incapacitated.’

Ruth went on to inquire about the nature of the pain, to which she replied that it was becoming more intense and she couldn’t locate her phone.

In a critical situation, Kéllé explained: ‘Ultimately, I had no choice but to rouse one of my kids from sleep. I felt terribly about it, but I thought, this is an emergency. So I climbed the stairs on all fours and shook him awake.’

Initially, her son became frightened when he understood the gravity of the situation, yet she made every effort to calm him down.

She clarified: “I asked, ‘Mum, I really need your assistance. I need you to act maturely and lend a hand.’ After that, he responded, ‘Alright, what exactly is required of me?'”

Kéllé asked her son to phone their dad and request an emergency response while she waited for water and a bowl, because she was experiencing vomiting at that moment.

She recalled: ‘He was just, adorable, he was my absolute hero.’

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share this: On the Loose Women panel, one of the ladies confided in us about a harrowing ordeal she faced. It turned out she had a stubborn kidney stone lodged in her urethra, which necessitated a surgical intervention to free her from its grasp. Truly, I’m just amazed by her courage and resilience!

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must confess that while I strive to maintain a balanced and healthy way of life, my dietary habits have unfortunately contributed to my struggle with kidney stones. The irony is, I overindulge in certain foods, such as an excessive amount of tomatoes and spinach, which might seem beneficial but can be detrimental when consumed excessively. In essence, it’s all about savoring a balanced diet – everything in moderation.

Her health issue disclosure follows criticism from fans of Loose Women this past week, who felt she was mocking Ruth by appearing to joke about maintaining friendships with exes following a split.

14 years ago, Ruth and her husband Eamonn Holmes, who is now 64, announced their intentions to separate after being married for 14 years. It was later revealed that he had been in a relationship with relationship counselor Katie Alexander, aged 42.

In the Monday episode of ITV’s daytime program, the panel consisting of Ruth, Kéllé, Coleen Nolan, and Kelly Holmes conversed about the delight of discovering a friend who will be part of your life forever, specifically mentioning the unusual friendship between Dame Judi Dench and Jay Blade in their latest series.

Instead of just discussing their connections with childhood schoolmates, Kéllé brought up an interesting point about individuals who manage to keep strong relationships even after parting ways, highlighting this as something unusual and remarkable.

However, although the Everlasting Singer didn’t intend any harm, viewers on Loose Women swiftly pointed out that bringing up a delicate topic in front of Ruth, who is currently dealing with a public split and wearing her wedding ring, seemed inappropriate to them.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, they made their feelings about Kéllé’s words clear.

They penned: ‘Is Bryant trolling Ruth regarding her recent breakup??’

‘Oops Kelle, talking about being friends after break ups.’

‘Oh remained friends after a break up Ruth.’

In the panel discussion, Kéllle expressed an interesting observation: ‘It can be quite remarkable when a romantic involvement or a relationship transforms into a lasting friendship afterward. This phenomenon is particularly unusual, especially when significant aspects of one’s life have been shared within that relationship.’

Occasionally, partings may turn sour, leading each party to tread their separate paths. Yet, if chance or shared interests bring you together again post-breakup, maintaining friendship from a past relationship speaks volumes about the enduring bond between you.

For me, the shared jokes, laughter, memories, and unique experiences you two created together hold immense significance.

In the meantime, the previous husband of Eamonn’s new partner, Katie Alexander, has chosen to speak up about her recent romance.

Previously separated from Katie, George Alexander expressed much empathy towards Ruth.

In conversation with The Sun, George (formerly married to Katie from 2010 to 2022) expressed his feelings towards Ruth by saying: “I hold a great deal of empathy for her.”

‘I have had my heart broken when my marriage to Katie ended.’

Adding: ‘It took me a couple of years to recover. I know how distraught Ruth must be feeling. She’s going through what I did after our marriage ended.’

George additionally emphasized that his ex-spouse was compassionate, implying she would certainly understand and prioritize Ruth’s emotions.

TopMob have contacted Katie’s reps for comment.
