Virgin River star shares hilarious reason she held up season 6 production
As a die-hard Virgin River fan, I find myself constantly enthralled by the behind-the-scenes antics of my favorite cast members. And Alexandra Breckenridge? She just keeps delivering! From her heartwarming portrayal of Mel Monroe to her hilarious real-life shenanigans, she’s a true gem.
Actress Alexandra Breckenridge, well-known for her role in Virgin River, has disclosed the reason behind pausing the filming of the sixth season. However, contrary to popular assumptions, it’s not due to issues that one may anticipate.
The Netflix series will come back on air within the following months, marking the start of its sixth season. However, filming has faced several interruptions over different occasions.
In an unexpected turn of events, I find myself embroiled in a quirky predicament. It seems that Mel Monroe, portrayed by Breckenridge, has found herself confined within her very own chicken coop.
Today, I found myself trapped inside the chicken coop. I shouted and shouted for assistance. It turns out that my voice isn’t easily heard within our house. She shared this amusing incident on Instagram, laughing emoji included.
Additionally, the article featured a clip showing Breckenridge’s spouse, Casey, recording the actress upon finding her within the chicken coop. The actress commented, “I came to clean out the water since the chickens tend to dirtify it.”
After shutting the gate, I called out for you [Casey], but here’s the strange part: I even shouted at someone who was passing by on a golf cart, and he just kept going without a second glance! It’s almost as if he didn’t hear me. Have people lost their sense of empathy? Who was that inconsiderate individual? What a rude person!
As I finally found my way out, I turned and offered a grateful thank you, with the actor explaining to his son the series of events that had led me to be accidentally locked in. Recognizing we needed a solution, the family decided on installing an internal mechanism to ensure such an incident wouldn’t happen again. Breckenridge made it clear this was a top priority.
As I eagerly wait for Breckenridge to catch up, my excitement for the upcoming season is skyrocketing! Just yesterday, my on-screen partner Martin Henderson, aka Jack Sheridan, gave us a sneak peek. He posted a selfie while he was deep in work within the recording booth. The anticipation is real, folks!
