As an ardent fan who has grown up witnessing Lisa McCune’s remarkable journey on screen, seeing her and her daughter Remy Elise Disney radiating joy on a sunny Sydney morning was nothing short of heartwarming. The mother-daughter duo, both stylishly dressed yet effortlessly casual, exuded an aura of contentment that could light up any room.
On a cheerful note, actress Lisa McCune, known for her role in Blue Heelers, beamed with joy alongside her daughter Remy Elise Disney after an exciting evening at the 2024 Logie Awards in Sydney earlier this week.
As a proud follower, I myself couldn’t help but notice the radiant spirit of the four-time Gold Logie winner, aged 53, who recently triumphed on Dancing With The Stars Australia. On a leisurely walk through the city, she was beaming with joy.
For her excursion, the actress chose an airy, high-necked top that she tucked into a flowing skirt that fell to just below her knees. The skirt had a loosely hanging style.
Lisa paired her boots and long black stockings with a set of black-framed glasses. She chose to accentuate her natural charm without any makeup whatsoever.
Her golden hair cascaded loosely around her shoulders while her daughter, Remy (age 19), chose a fashionable outfit that’s currently popular.
Remy, the youngest child among Lisa and her former spouse Tim Disney’s offspring, put on a rather baggy pair of blue denim trousers.
The youngster matched it with a slightly-sky-blue long-sleeved shirt, partially showing her waistline by tucking its lower part in.
With a grey jacket slung casually over her arm, Remy completed her stylish ensemble by donning a set of well-worn sneakers and sunnies that coordinated perfectly with her brown Oroton bag.
On Sunday evening, the mother-daughter pair went to the Logies jointly, with Lisa choosing her daughter as her companion at the Star in Sydney.
As a long-time fan of reality TV shows and a former participant in dance competitions myself, I have to admit that I was thrilled when Lisa made it to this year’s season of Dancing With The Stars. Not only is she an accomplished dancer, but her story and charisma made her a standout contestant. It was no surprise to me that she made it all the way to the finals. However, I must say I was disappointed when she lost to The Voice. Don’t get me wrong, The Voice is also a great show, but in my opinion, Dancing With The Stars deserves recognition for its unique blend of dance, entertainment, and human spirit. It’s a testament to the power of perseverance, hard work, and passion, and I hope Lisa continues to shine in her future endeavors.
The actress took out the Mirror Ball Trophy with her professional dance partner Ian Waite in a tense finale on the Channel Seven dancing competition last Monday.
Additionally, she received a grant of $20,000 that she allocated to her selected charities, namely, the RCD Foundation and the Harrison Reidel Foundation.
Overjoyed by our victory, Lisa expressed her excitement saying, ‘I am absolutely delighted!’, before giving credit to her 53-year-old dance partner Ian.
After adding the Mirrorball Trophy to her collection, Lisa playfully remarked, “Now it can join my Logie awards.”
In the finale, Lisa outperformed contestants Samantha Jade, James Stewart, Nikki Osborne, and Ant Middleton during an extraordinary dance-off, showcasing a performance inspired by the style of burlesque.
