In the upcoming thriller “Caught Stealing,” Butler is set to appear alongside Matt Smith from Doctor Who, taking center stage in front of the camera.
He will play a burned-out ex-baseball player who finds himself trying to survive NYC’s underground crime world.
Zoe Kravitz will co-star in the crime drama, along with Regina King and Liev Schreiber.
Filming will begin next month in the Big Apple.
Gerber recently wrapped up work on Shell, a thriller co-starring Elizabeth Moss and Kate Hudson.
The tale of a struggling young woman, who notices patients disappearing after starting work at a health firm owned by a glamorous social media star, will make its premiere in September.
