I cannot help but feel deeply moved by Olympia Valance‘s heartfelt words and her courageous journey. As someone who has not walked in her shoes, it is impossible for me to fathom the emotional turmoil she has faced during her fertility struggles. Her resilience in the face of adversity is truly inspiring, and I can only imagine how strong she must be to continue pushing forward.

Olympia Valance shares that her experience of becoming pregnant for the first time with her spouse, Thomas Bellchambers, was a challenging journey.

Over the weekend, an Australian model and actress revealed that she had conceived a child after experiencing miscarriages and undergoing in vitro fertilization treatments. Eventually, she was blessed with what she calls her “miracle baby.”

In this week’s Stellar Magazine, I openly share my journey, admitting that my unwavering desire to start a family overshadowed my career at times.

For the past four years, my mind has primarily focused on babies. During this time, I feel as though I’ve somehow become disconnected from myself, according to a statement made by the actor in an interview with the publication.

I had lost direction regarding my career aspirations. My motivation seemed to fade as all I could focus on was this particular matter.

Olympia shared that she felt drained after experiencing numerous miscarriages, and she had essentially lost hope with IVF treatments. However, she managed to get pregnant once more.

The star was ‘a couple of weeks away from getting an IUD put in’ when she got the good news.

She hid the pregnancy on social media until she reached the 25 week mark this weekend, and revealed she is expecting a boy.

On a recent Saturday, Olympia shared her exciting pregnancy news through a heartfelt Instagram post, also discussing her challenges with fertility.

On her social media, Thomas, aged 35, was pictured tenderly supporting Olympia’s expanding belly while holding a positive pregnancy test, indicating the joyous news of an upcoming birth.

She confessed, “For the last 5 and a half months, I’ve secluded myself to ensure that what’s happened isn’t just a waking dream.”

However, you continue to expand and expand, and it seems as though our long-held aspirations may be on the verge of becoming reality.

I’ve been as transparent and sincere as I could regarding our struggles with infertility, and honestly, I never thought this day would come for us. Therefore, when I saw that positive pregnancy test, I must confess, initially, I didn’t leap with excitement.

Initially, I was overwhelmed with fear due to my familiarity with it. However, as time passed, it became increasingly difficult to hide our smiles.

Previously known Neighbours actor expressed her joy about beginning a family, all the while expressing gratitude towards those who remained loyal and offered support during their toughest times.

To the tiny being we hadn’t expected, we eagerly anticipate embracing you. Every tear, each obstacle, and every plea were worth it for you, she went on.

In the depths of my toughest times, I’ve been buoyed by the unwavering support of those around me. It’s no exaggeration to say that I wouldn’t be standing here today without the resilience and love from my family and friends who kept me afloat when I felt like I was sinking. To each and every one of you, a heartfelt thank you.

Olympia also paid tribute to families who have experienced fertility issues or pregnancy loss.

She mentioned that while this is the most wonderful news for Thomas and herself, it’s hard on her heart to think about those who see it and experience pain as well.

Writing this was incredibly challenging for me, as I seem to find myself in a place where I straddle two distinct realms. This journey is far from simple, and I would never impose it on even my most formidable adversary. It’s an intense, emotional ride that feels like a roller coaster through the depths of one’s soul.

‘Stay strong, keep fighting, but most importantly don’t forget to be kind to yourself.’

Last May, the ex-soap opera actor shared that the extended IVF treatment had drained her energy, and a heartbreaking miscarriage pushed her to an emotional low.

‘My body was exhausted and my mind was spent,’ she said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.

Initially, I was a sociable, cheerful individual, but over time I transformed into a recluse. A complete transformation was necessary for me to regain balance.

In July 2023, Valance disclosed that she experienced two miscarriages – one of twins early in the Covid pandemic, followed by another at six weeks later in the same year.

As a devoted follower, I experienced a heartbreaking loss – the stillbirth of our twins – right smack in the midst of the pandemic. Needless to say, it was an unbearably agonizing ordeal for me.

Over the past two years, I’ve been diligently attempting to expand my family, yet unfortunately, success has eluded me thus far.

‘For any woman or couple trying to get pregnant, there is no worse pain than every month looking down at that negative pregnancy test. Your heart breaks in two.’

Olympia confessed that she felt hesitant about pursuing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) because she has always had difficulty handling hormones.

‘Adding more hormones to my raging cycle scares the s**t out of me,’ she confessed, but said she was not seeing a fertility specialist.

‘I want babies and I will do everything in my power to get them,’ Olympia concluded.

Olympia and football player Thomas married in June 2022.

250 family members and friends gathered to witness a beautiful wedding ceremony where the couple, symbolically depicted as stars, made their vows, all taking place in scenic Daylesford, Victoria.

The couple later enjoyed their honeymoon in Greece where they were joined by sister, Holly Candy.

In 2014, Olympia made a name for herself by joining the cast of Neighbours as Paige Smith. She got engaged to Tom in October 2021.

They started going out together in June 2019, having met through the ultra-elite celebrity dating platform, Raya.
