JCB heiress Alice Bamford grieves partner Ann in emotional tribute

She’s always lived a privileged life, something she openly admitted years ago when her parents, Lord and Lady Bamford, threw her a lavish 21st birthday party inspired by The Great Gatsby. Held at their 2,000-acre estate in Gloucestershire, Daylesford, the event was attended by hundreds, including Joan Collins and the late Duke of Marlborough.

Alice, the couple’s only daughter, felt incredibly lucky to have been born into such a loving and generous family. They were exceptionally wealthy, having made a £10 billion fortune through their family’s JCB digger business, and she often joked she’d been ‘delivered’ to the perfect parents.

Alice, age 49, always knew bad things could happen to anyone, and she recently honored her life partner, Ann Eysenring, with a heartfelt tribute. They shared a life together at their home, One Gun Ranch, on the California coast.

Alice, mother to Ann’s three young children, described Ann, who recently lost her battle with cancer, as truly unique. She shared, ‘We find reminders of her in every sunrise, every sunset, and in all the little moments in between.’

Alice’s mother, Carole, who founded the Daylesford Organic company, was thrilled with the accomplishment, and it caught the attention of many of her famous friends, including Dame Joan and model Cara Delevingne.

The Australian actress enjoyed a liberating experience while traveling to Nashville with friends to celebrate Reese Witherspoon’s 50th birthday.

Injured Anthea’s painful new accessory: a sling

Anthea Turner has postponed her wedding to Mark Armstrong for the third time, and now has another reason for the delay.

The 65-year-old former Blue Peter presenter has been wearing a sling for the past three weeks because she injured the tendons in her shoulder.

“It really hurts,” she cried. “I’ve come home from the hospital with a lot of strong painkillers.” Anthea injured her shoulder falling down the stairs at Christmas, but doctors have only recently determined she has a torn rotator cuff.

Mark is handling things really well, but my friends actually feel more bad for him than they do for me – I’m just a difficult patient.

She recalls her immediate concern: “How will I dry my hair?” She jokes that she looked like the scarecrow Worzel Gummidge.

 

Fruit machine bid puts Bianca Jagger in a spin

Bianca Jagger, once known for her glamorous and unrestrained lifestyle alongside her husband, Mick Jagger, during the 1970s, is now dedicated to advocating for important causes and ethical issues.

Eighty-year-old Bianca has written a four-page letter to the Kensington and Chelsea council, protesting plans for a new slot-machine arcade in Earl’s Court. Silvertime Amusement intends to replace an existing, smaller business with the larger venue.

According to a letter reported in The Chelsea Citizen, Silvertime’s current location is relatively hidden. The proposed new site, however, would be much more noticeable, with about four times the window space in a prominent area, potentially turning it into a major gambling destination.

These areas tend to attract petty crime and pushy begging, which then contributes to the illegal drug trade that operates at night.

A Silvertime representative stated that their Earl’s Court venue has been operating for many years without any problems with disruptive behavior.
