Hotel managers at the Tangará Palace have spoken out to support Jude Law’s daughter after she reportedly became upset following an incident with Chappell Roan’s security guard. They confirm her account of what happened.

Jude’s daughter, Ada, was at a luxury hotel with her mother, Catherine Harding, and her stepfather, soccer player Jorginho. While there, she spotted Roan eating breakfast, smiled at him as she walked by, but didn’t go over to speak or ask for a picture.

Jorginho says things got worse quickly when a security guard, reportedly working for the singer, approached the girl and her mother.

Following Jorginho’s Instagram post detailing the incident and claiming Ada was threatened by the singer’s security, 28-year-old Chappell is now receiving significant criticism.

Roan responded to the situation, stating she wasn’t aware of what happened and the security guard wasn’t someone who worked directly for her. She also said she was sorry for any upset it caused.

Chappell maintains she didn’t know about the incident, and a recent statement confirms the singer has a strict policy against mistreating fans.

According to a spokesperson for the celebrity, Chappell had no knowledge of any contact between the mother and daughter and any outside security firm.

In her video, she stated she hadn’t seen them at breakfast during her hotel stay. She also confirmed she didn’t ask her security team, or anyone else working with her, to approach them.

Chappell expects a lot from her team and won’t accept any aggressive behavior directed at her or her supporters.

Ada’s mother, Catherine, said the security guard spoke to her daughter in an aggressive and scolding manner.

She added that anyone acting on behalf of an artist reflects on them – further fuelling the row.

As a long-time admirer of the Tangará Palace, I was surprised to see them get involved in this situation. It seems they’re subtly supporting what Harding said – that the security guard wasn’t actually one of their employees. It’s a bit of a delicate position for such a prestigious hotel, but they definitely seem to be distancing themselves from the singer’s claims.

The hotel told Brazilian columnist Leo Dias that it’s unable to discuss individual guest situations because of its privacy rules.

However, they also stated that Jorginho and his wife have confirmed the hotel wasn’t involved in the issue with the singer.

This latest development has complicated the already public disagreement, and people are split on who is to blame.

To add to the intrigue, the statement has since been deleted from the Leo Dias site.

Reddit users discussed the recent plot development. One commenter, SneakyFire23, pointed out that both the hotel and the opposing side claim hotel security wasn’t involved, suggesting someone on Roan’s team must be responsible. They believe the fact that this claim wasn’t challenged indicates it’s likely true.

Another user, Thenedslittlegirl, pointed out that this appears to be a public relations statement designed to avoid taking sides in a dispute between two customers. By repeating one customer’s claim that security isn’t the company’s responsibility, they’re subtly admitting that’s true.

The only other potential security presence would be Roan’s team. It doesn’t really matter if they’re her regular security detail or were specifically hired for this event…

The way that security guard treated someone simply for being nearby is completely inappropriate.

Cent_Silvr_Spoon0130 questioned whether the person was assigned to protect Chappell directly, or if they were simply part of her security detail. They also wondered who on her team approved hiring someone who would yell at a child.
