Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Gameplay Showcases Cyrax
As a lifelong Mortal Kombat fanatic with a soft spot for the Lin Kuei clan and their mechanical brethren, I must say that the reveal of female Cyrax in Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns has me positively giddy! The trailer showcases her high-flying, high-impact moveset with an impressive display of aerial acrobatics and evasive maneuvers that are sure to keep opponents guessing.
WB Games and NetherRealm have unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer for the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns title, featuring Cyrax. This time around, the yellow cyborg character makes a comeback, but as a female Lin Kuei warrior hailing from the Zaki clan within Fire God Liu Kang’s ‘New Era’.
At first, Cyrax was subordinate to her fellow cyborg Sektor. However, her strong desire for independence has created a divide between them, leading her to work for the Lin Kuei according to her own conditions. The latest trailer showcases Cyrax’s dynamic fighting style, which is characterized by powerful aerial assaults, swift evasions, and the familiar green energy nets, explosives, and sawblades.
You’ll have an opportunity to preview Cyrax’s Animality feature, coming soon as new finisher options for Mortal Kombat 1 through a free roster update. Both Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns and the free update are slated for release on 24th September. Pre-orders are currently available, granting access to ‘Wedding Scorpion’, ‘Empress Mileena’, and special versions of Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot as bonus skins, including the ‘Ultimate MK3’ editions.
In other Mortal Kombat 1 news, the game has also now sold more than 4 million units worldwide.
