On a bustling day in Manchester City Center, Ryan Giggs’s partner, Zara Charles, proudly displayed her growing belly. This was on a Thursday.
In April of this year, the 36-year-old lingerie model and the 50-year-old former Manchester United soccer player, who began dating in 2021, revealed they are having a baby as their first child together.
For her casual outing, she exuded an attractive glow while wearing a white T-shirt and beige Hermes sandals, maintaining a laid-back style.
She was seen toting a cream handbag and black sunglasses while concentrating on her mobile phone.
To accessorise, Zara kept it simple with a pair of chunky gold hoops and a simple gold necklace.
Ryan is currently the parent of two kids – a 17-year-old son named Zach and an 19-year-old daughter called Libby – who he had with his spouse, Stacey Cooke, during their decade-long union.
Zara also has a daughter from a previous marriage.
It’s said that Ryan’s former spouse, Stacey (who finalized the divorce in 2017), has also expressed her approval, along with their kids.
A source revealed to The Sun that although Ryan was initially anxious about his children’s reaction, they have come to know Zara quite well over the past few years and genuinely appreciate her.
‘They’re happy because they know he’s happy.
‘But they’ve joked that he might struggle with the early mornings and lack of sleep.
Ryan and Zara are excited about the possibility of having another child, as their bond is strong and deep, and they’re working towards creating a lasting partnership.
Another source told the publication: ‘Stacey approves of Zara.
‘Her and Ryan have been through a lot but they have moved on and she’s only interested in him being happy, because that makes him a good dad to their kids. There is no animosity.’
2017 saw the divorce between Stacey and Ryan due to the disclosure of a long-term relationship he had with her sister-in-law, Natasha, which had been going on for eight years.
When the news became public, members of his family decided to sever connections with him. His father expressed feelings of shame, while his brother, Rhodri, gained attention by featuring in a Paddy Power advertisement that poked fun at the former Manchester United player.
Despite going through the challenge of an affair involving Ryan with Imogen Thomas, the marriage endured; however, they eventually parted ways in 2016.
As per Leiper Gupta Family Lawyers, Ryan might have had to pay up to £20million in divorce costs. However, their legal representatives stated that despite the divorce, Ryan and his partner continue to be good friends.
