As a loyal fan of the Outer Banks saga who’s been riding these waves since day one, I must say that this new Kildare Country Surf Shop commercial leaves me absolutely stoked! The Pogues have outdone themselves yet again, weaving humor and intrigue into their latest venture. And with season 4 officially dropping in fall 2024 on Netflix, it’s time to stock up on popcorn and brace ourselves for another rollercoaster ride.
It’s well-known that our beloved Pogue crew are both resourceful and close-knit. With the quest for the Royal Merchant’s gold concluded, John B and Sarah continuing to cope with the loss of their fathers, it seems the team is ready to embark on a fresh chapter. This new chapter isn’t just about the addition of Blackbeard’s treasure; it’s also about the Pogues starting their own business!
The new Kildare Country Surf Shop commercial is hilarious, and such a great way to tease Outer Banks season 4 – officially coming in fall 2024 to Netflix! I do hope that this also means some new merch is coming our way. Take my money, Netflix. It’s already all yours. Based on the commercial and what we know about our lovely Pogues, you can definitely expect gold-star customer service when you walk in. Unless you’re a Kook. Maybe. Check out the video below!
According to Netflix’s Tudum, it was actually Jonathan Daviss (better known as Pope) who penned and directed the commercial. His talent shone through as he skillfully combined information with humor, ensuring that each character’s personality stood out. It’s a real delight to watch! Apart from Daviss, we also get to see Chase Stokes as John B., Madelyn Cline as Sarah, Madison Bailey as Kiara, Rudy Pankow as JJ, and Carlacia Grant as Cleo.
1. At this surf shop, you can find everything you need for water activities. They offer personalized surfboards made by Kie and guided tours for both surfing and scuba diving with JJ. Watch out for Cleo; she’s known for her sharp tongue! The Pogues will be swamped when they return this fall due to their growing business. However, the quest for Blackbeard’s treasure might distract them. We’ll soon discover what happens next! These guys are nothing if not determined and skilled at unearthing hidden treasures.
Besides the principal actors, Austin North will reprise his role as Topper, Drew Starkey as Rafe, and Fiona Palomo as Sofia, who was introduced as Rafe’s love interest in Outer Banks season 3. Additionally, there are several new cast members and characters joining the series, some of whom appear to be potential allies or obstacles for our group of friends. Given their history, it comes as no surprise that the Pogues know how to draw adversaries. However, united they stand, and with their strength, they can overcome any challenge!
