Ryan Gosling and Indian actor Hrithik Roshan recently discussed the idea of working together on a project inspired by Gosling’s movie, Project Hail Mary. Ryan Gosling and Hrithik Roshan discuss Rocky and Jadoo

Ryan Gosling, known for his role in The Notebook, recently spoke with a famous Indian actor for Sony Pictures India. They chatted about the possibility of making a movie based on the novel Project Hail Mary.

Hrithik Roshan shared that he loves the book ‘Project Hail Mary’ by Andy Weir and is looking forward to the movie adaptation. He then pointed out a connection to his own 2003 film, ‘Koi… Mil Gaya,’ which also featured a friendship with an alien, much like the relationship between the characters in ‘Project Hail Mary’ played by Ryan Gosling.

Roshan mentioned he and Ryan Gosling might be the only actors to work with such endearing alien characters – Roshan with Jadoo and Gosling with Rocky. He then referenced his film, Koi… Mil Gaya. Gosling, after hearing about Jadoo, jokingly expressed his envy and playfully proposed a trade: Roshan could remake Project Hail Mary, while he would remake Koi… Mil Gaya.

Roshan quickly dismissed the possibility of connecting his story with other alien films. Instead, he playfully suggested a small, private connection between his characters, Jadoo and Rocky. He imagined Jadoo visiting Rocky and bringing him to Earth, specifically to India, where they could all hang out and even make a movie together, inviting others to join them.

Ryan Gosling also liked the idea of adapting Project Hail Mary for an Indian audience as a shared-universe project, joining Hrithik Roshan in supporting the concept.
