Overwatch 2 Martian Support Hero Juno Available Next Week With Season 12: New Frontiers
As a seasoned Overwatch 2 player with countless hours spent in the virtual battlefield, I can hardly contain my excitement for Season 12: New Frontiers! The introduction of Juno, our new Martian Support hero, is a game-changer that promises to add a fresh dynamic to the team composition. Her Mediblaster and Pulsar Torpedoes will surely dominate the battlefield in ways we’ve yet to experience.
Overwatch 2’s Season 12: New Frontiers is set to debut next week, introducing “space-exploring” character Juno as a mobile Martian support hero into the team, along with two fresh Clash Maps, and some breathtakingly “celestial” Mythic skins.
In Overwatch 2, Juno arrives equipped with a Mediblaster and Pulsar Torpedoes, providing an exclusive blend of healing and combat capabilities. Her skills like Hyper Ring and Orbital Ray empower her to have a significant impact on the battlefield. At its launch, she will be eligible for competitive play.
In Season 12, the exciting new Clash mode will make its debut, featuring shifting spawn locations and simplified paths through the map. The focus here is on quick, tactical play spanning multiple capture points, as per Blizzard’s description – delivering “more action and fewer breaks”.
In the upcoming update, the redesigned Temple of Anubis map will be accompanied by two additional maps: the Hanamura-inspired Hanaoka map, and another inspired by Anubis in the form of a Reaper Hero Skin. Furthermore, the Midnight Sun Ana Weapon Skin is also included. As you advance through the Season 12 Premium Battle Pass, you’ll uncover these unique skins, which are part of the 80 tiers filled with “ancient treasures and cosmic wonders”.
In total, the Premium Battle Pass will feature up to 80 Mythic Prisms, five legendary skins, Overwatch Coins, credits, and more. Season 12: New Frontiers will be available in Overwatch 2 from 20th August. Check out the new trailer below.
