Robbie Williams has revealed that he and wife Ayda Field have secretly renewed their wedding vows after 14-years of marriage.
50-year-old singer, who has four kids with his 45-year-old spouse, shared an unusual Instagram post on Wednesday that also disclosed some drawbacks of his recently acquired dentures.
Towards the end of an extensive conversation encompassing topics ranging from the Olympics to jet lag, Robbie casually mentioned: “By the way, Ayda and I renewed our wedding vows.”
Instead of saying that, you could express it as follows: “At this moment, I’m deeply appreciative, not holding any future exhaustion or stress in mind, but feeling truly grateful now.”
Additionally, he elaborated on the fact that his recently acquired temporary dentures, following decades of using his natural teeth excessively, now prevent him from enjoying a cherished hobby.
From the very start, I’ve been a compulsive nail-biter. There’s something comforting about the bite and subsequent chew. Even with my newly grown teeth, they lack the sensitivity that used to make biting painful.
Moreover, my newly acquired teeth lack the ability to chomp on nails. Without the sensation of nerve endings, there’s no pleasure derived from biting into my favorite calorie-free snack. Seems like that pleasure is now a thing of the past, if I may say so with a face of dismay.
In 2010, this pair tied the knot and they have five children: Teddy (age 11), Charlie (9 years old), Coco (6), Colette (5), and their youngest, Beau, who is 4 years old.
Next year, they planned to renew their vows, but had to postpone because of the COVID-19 pandemic last year.
In February, Ayda expressed her hope that her ailing mother Gwen, along with their 18-year-old pet dog Poupette, would be well enough to join in the festivities.
Based on my personal experiences and the current state of my mother’s health, I believe we should plan for a 15-year anniversary renewal if our beloved Poupette can hold on for one more year. There are many relatives and friends whose lives we care deeply about, but with a bit of luck and perseverance, it seems achievable. Let’s make this special occasion happen!
She went on saying: ‘It’s heartwarming to see that the man I adore then is still my husband now, and even more wonderful. The fact that our families were there as well – you don’t fully appreciate how valuable such instances can be. We’ve had quite an exceptional journey together, and that day marked the beginning of it.’
2010’s event occurred at their $15 million Beverly Hills residence, where Robbie performed a rendition of his popular tune, “Angels,” for a small group of attendees on stage.
Additionally, he acknowledged that the gathering was quite unusual, devoid of a Best Man, and the attendees were informed they were attending a James Bond-themed bash only when the festivities were about to commence.

“Currently, I’m aboard an airplane, headed to a new destination. Just as we departed our home en route to the airport, my mind was filled with thoughts about the current trip and what lies beyond it.”
He continued: ‘I have to travel literally around the world in the next few days. Gigs, more gigs, flights, jet lag. This was at the front of my mind as I passed the many palm trees of LA. Anxiety about future tiredness. Anxiety about future tiredness and shows. Then I realised where I’d just come from and the glorious time me my family and friends had just had. And how I’m normally leaving some sort of adventure that I never look back at with gratitude.In my mind there’s just future f***ry’.
Reflecting on recent events, I must admit that spending time with my friends has been a truly enriching experience. Their company brings an immense sense of joy and happiness to my life, making those moments together all the more precious. The Olympics served as the perfect backdrop for our bonding, providing a wholesome atmosphere that was both inspiring and entertaining.
As a lifelong learner and constant explorer, I’ve discovered that my life has taken a turn for the better lately. My newfound self-assurance and rejuvenated energy have filled me with a zest for living that I hadn’t felt in quite some time. A recent addition to my smile and my wardrobe (a bright pink jacket) certainly doesn’t hurt, either!
Before wrapping up: ‘I am profoundly thankful at this moment. I’m not future-tense grateful, worn out and stressed. Instead, I’m right here, right now, feeling gratitude. What are you grateful for? Express it, feel it deeply. If writing it down seems too much, think about it. Embrace it.’
On Friday, Robbie shared pictures of his recent dental work on his primary Instagram feed.
In the candid post, he admitted he only went in for consultation but ended up coming out with a brand new full set of temporary teeth.
He told fans the new teeth will remain until the individual ones are placed in a months time.
Thrilled beyond words, here I am, a once-devoted Take That fan, beaming over their new appearance! To be honest, I must admit that I was taken aback by the swiftness of their transformation, but boy, do they look amazing now! I can’t help but shower them with love and admiration.
Robbie humorously commented, “Perhaps some of you had a soft spot for the old ones. They were quite charming.”
