Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah responds to ‘mean’ comments about her and her sisters’ looks
As a film enthusiast who has seen the evolution of Hollywood dynasties over the years, I find myself deeply moved by the resilience and grace displayed by Tallulah Willis in response to online trolls. With her life experiences that have tested her strength and character, she continues to rise above negativity with love, compassion, and a touch of humor.
In response to online critics, Bruce Willis’ daughter, Tallulah Willis, defended herself and her sisters against hurtful remarks regarding their looks.
On a Monday, Scout Willis, her older sister, shared a dance video on Instagram showcasing her new song titled “Over and Over”. The video featured Rumer Willis, their mother Demi Moore, actor Patrick Hilgart, and floral designer Eric Buterbaugh. In the caption, Scout expressed gratitude saying, “It seems I’m God’s preferred ‘nepo baby’, with a family so supportive. If they can master it, then you can too, sweetheart.”
Some commenters decided that was an opportune time to denigrate the sisters’ looks.
Among the jabs: One said the siblings weren’t “lookers” but proceeded to compliment “Striptease” actor Moore. Another spread the hate a little thicker, calling them “terrifying.”
“Hello! It’s likely you’ve come across the viral video of our family grooving in sync with Scout LaRue Willis’ new single. We absolutely adore this clip! As Tallulah shared on Instagram (although the post has since been removed), Page Six reported, it was a joy to disseminate such a fun moment. It’s always surprising when people learn about the unkind comments we’ve faced throughout our lives, so I feel compelled to address those online bullies.”
Over the past three decades, Tallulah has encountered numerous obstacles and openly discussed her hardships with her followers. Last month, she expressed affection towards her father via an Instagram post; it was recently revealed that Bruce Willis is battling aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
In that very month, she disclosed her autism condition, a revelation she stated had significantly altered her life. Regarding body image struggles, she expressed: “Sending love to all the warriors of eating disorder recovery.”
Nothing like countering the internet hate with a little love.
