Netflix finally confirms the fate of The Gentlemen

As a dedicated fan who’s been through the highs and lows of this rollercoaster ride called “The Gentlemen,” I can’t help but feel a mix of relief and exhilaration! After five long months of uncertainty, Netflix finally decided to renew our beloved crime comedy series. The news came as a breath of fresh air, quelling the fears that had been creeping up on us like a British fog.

Gosh, I can hardly believe it’s been five whole months since we’ve heard anything about the possible renewal of “The Gentlemen” on Netflix! At first, I had a sinking feeling that this hilarious crime-comedy series might not make a comeback.

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but feel like I’ve just leveled up! Hear the good news? Netflix has decided to bring back “The Gentlemen” for another season! Let’s dive back into the world of this captivating series and uncover more mysteries together.

What else do we know? Let’s take a look!

Theo James and Kaya Scodelario will return for The Gentlemen Season 2

At one moment, there was concern that the series might get cancelled due to statements made by Theo James, which seemed to suggest that a second season wasn’t guaranteed as he indicated he might not reprise his role for it.

Great to hear the buzz is only speculation until the final verdict! It’s fantastic news that ol’ James reprises his role as Eddie Horniman again. And let me tell you, having Kaya back as Susie Glass feels like welcoming an old friend! Honestly, can’t imagine the show without these two, so it all seems perfectly right to me.

Guy Ritchie will return as writer and director. Matthew Read will also return as co-writer.

As for the other actors, it’s not yet set in stone, but we anticipate several familiar faces making an appearance somehow.

The Gentlemen Season 2 episode count is confirmed

In addition to the primary characters, it’s also confirmed that the upcoming season will consist of eight episodes once more. This format suits this type of narrative, as it concentrates on a single major story arc while allowing for sub-plots to develop for different characters across the season.

Information about what’s coming up in the second season is still unavailable. The first season primarily revolved around Eddie’s struggle to extricate his family from the drug world. Yet, he found himself drawn to the excitement of it all, leaving us questioning whether he would truly escape from Susie Glass’ influence. He had the potential to outsmart the gangsters using their own tactics, but that came at a price: he might have been forced to join them himself.
