David Malukas has agreed on a multi-year deal to join A.J. Foyt Enterprises, starting from the 2025 IndyCar season and beyond, surprising some as he had been rumored to be in talks with Meyer Shank Racing for an extension and also with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing about replacing Christian Lundgaard who is moving to Arrow McLaren.

2022 and 2023 saw Malukas racing for Dale Coyne Racing, backed by his father’s HMD Motorsports team. Malukas joins Foyt
