Has the M&A Team put Gabi on a pedestal in Found?

As a dedicated fan of the gripping series “Found“, I find myself deeply empathizing with the characters, particularly Gabi, who has been through an extraordinary ordeal. While her actions may have been questionable, it’s crucial to remember that she is human and capable of making mistakes.

At the close of Season 1 in Found, the M&A group encountered an unexpected turn of events. With Sir at large, Gabi felt compelled to reveal the hidden fact she had been concealing. So far, only Dhan was privy to this truth, which resulted in several team members choosing to avoid communicating with Gabi.

It’s clear that Gabi made a mistake, there’s no arguing with that. Although her actions led to finding several missing individuals, doing something incorrect even with good intentions is still an error.

It appears the M&A team may be viewing Gabi with an unrealistic admiration. It might serve them well to remember she’s just like everyone else, capable of making mistakes.

Gabi is not just their savior in Found

According to Showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll, the team cannot deny their admiration for Gabi. At some of the toughest moments in their lives, Gabi was there to lend support. She provided them with the resilience and motivation needed to transform their hardships into something positive.

Beyond their shared history, Lacey relied heavily on Gabi. As children, it was Gabi who rescued Lacey from Sir, creating a bond that made Lacey feel secure enough to confide in her. Gabi became Lacey’s constant source of comfort and advice, a role she gladly filled. Lacey often shared her worries about Sir returning, and although Gabi knew where he was, she never revealed this information to Lacey.

I was utterly stunned when I uncovered the truth about Gabi and Sir. This betrayal struck me like a punch to the gut, but we need to remember that Gabi’s been battling her own demons too. She was among those who disappeared, and it’s left an indelible scar on her soul. Forced to endure captivity for a year without any hope of escape, it’s no wonder she made some questionable choices.
