Real Housewives of Dubai: Chanel Ayan learns her ‘forensic’ age is much older than her real age
As a seasoned observer of reality TV, I must say that the women of “The Real Housewives of Dubai” are living their lives with an unapologetic flair and unbridled enthusiasm. Sara, a woman who seems to be juggling her professional life and personal relationships deftly, finds herself in a tricky situation when it comes to Akin’s disapproval.
In the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Dubai on Bravo, Chanel Ayan discovered that she had been underestimating her age after undergoing dental forensic testing, which revealed a more advanced age than she had believed.
In the latest episode, Lesa Milan, aged 35, stated, ‘According to the forensic findings, you could be as young as 45 or as old as 50.’
In a private moment, Chanel shared, ‘According to my birth certificate, I am 42 years old. It seems plausible then that I might actually be a 50-year-old lady.’
‘You’re 50!’ Caroline Stanbury, 48, said.
‘I’m now one of the babies of the group,’ Stanbury said in a confessional.
In a confidential conversation, Chanel expressed her joy over Stanbury’s happiness, saying, ‘I was glad she was so pleased. It meant a lot to me since I had hoped she would feel this way. You see, deep down, I believe that she will get a facelift before I do.’
In the episode titled “Dressed to the Whines,” the ladies were continuing their getaway in Bali. Lesa had prepared traditional attire for them to don during dinner, but Stanbury (aged 38), Caroline Brooks, and Taleen Marie (age 36) seemed reluctant about putting on those dresses.
“Brooks exclaimed, ‘It’s unbelievable that she would have me travel in a train painted mustard yellow! And to ask the designer to omit the buttons? I can’t fathom why!'”
In the spirit of our shared camaraderie, Taleen and I found ourselves in a hearty fit of laughter, feeling reminiscent of those infamous stepsisters from a classic tale. After my invitation for dinner, Brooks shared that they couldn’t make it. As the evening unfolded, we returned our borrowed gowns and donned our own attire, with the help of Stanbury – a moment of unity among friends.
‘It’s 100% disrespectful not only to me, but also to the designer,’ Lesa said.
Stanbury, Brooks and Taleen ordered food at the hotel.
In a confessional, Taleen expressed, ‘Perhaps Lesa had good intentions, but we decided to step away from the predicament. Now, things are going smoothly for us.’ She added, ‘I’m really enjoying it.’
‘Welcome back to the good side,’ Brooks said toasting Stanbury.
‘No, I think we are welcoming you back, actually,’ Stanbury said.
‘I’m ready to bury the hatchet with Stanbury,’ Brooks said in a confessional.
“Brooks is in need of a great deal of assistance, as per Stanubry, who expressed this sentiment privately,” said Stanubry. “I am eager to progress and thrilled that I no longer have the title of Public Enemy Number One.”
Brooks and Taleen toasted champagne together.
‘This is a girls trip,’ Taleen said.
After dinner, Lesa, Sara, and their companion Saba, along with Chanel, came back. Chanel commented that they all appeared quite ordinary or unremarkable.
‘We didn’t miss you guys,’ Chanel said. ‘You wouldn’t show up because of clothes.’
‘I went over and beyond to reach out to this designer to get these dresses,’ Lesa said.
Chanel told Stanbury, “It was expected we’d enjoy ourselves, but you’re pulling away instead. Everyone here cares about you deeply, yet you seem determined to make us worry. Let me make this clear: I don’t pity you in the slightest!”
“It’s clear, even without being an expert, that she’s still angry with me,” Stanbury explained in a private moment.
Taleen and Brooks apologized for not going out.
On the fourth day of their Bali vacation, Stanbury phoned Sergio and shared that she intended to prioritize her bond with Chanel. She invited him to join her at the Bali Swings.
‘She needs to explain herself to me because I’m really mad at her,’ Chanel said.
‘Do not push each other off the swings,’ Sara said.
The rest of the ladies went ATVing.
In a straightforward manner, Chanel conveyed to Stanbury that she had placed trust in her and felt taken aback. In response, Stanbury expressed regret and clarified that her actions were not intended to jeopardize her relationship with Lesa.
‘What you did was not okay,’ Chanel said. ‘There’s nothing that you can say.’
In his words, Stanbury admitted, “I attempted to play a prank on them, but it backfired. I apologize sincerely. However, regaining your trust is not something I can force; that decision lies with you.”
Stanbury admitted she took a playful jab at Sara, while Chanel confided in a private moment that perhaps she resented Stanbury due to the disappointment she felt when Lesa stopped trusting her. Both women seemed to find relief by taking a swing.
After that, the women prepared themselves for their final evening in Bali. Sara confided in her friend Saba that she was encountering trouble with her friend Akin. She explained that he became quite agitated as she planned to collaborate on a podcast with a sportscaster who had shared photos of himself without a shirt online.
‘But I’m getting paid $45k for this podcast,’ Sara said.
‘Akin phoned me and told me he thinks I shouldn’t do that podcast, claiming the person I’m considering isn’t good and he doesn’t like him, according to a private conversation.’
Sara said that Akin does not believe women and men can be friends.
‘This is work,’ Saba said. ‘Is he paying your bills?’
‘No,’ Sara said.
‘You are letting him control you,’ Saba said.
For the last night, Sara arranged for an energy palm reader to come do readings. Stanbury got everyone wooden penis and handed them out. Chanel said they could not bring them to Dubai.
In a private conversation, Chanel stated, ‘I can’t take it with me to Dubai as it’s against the law to possess an artificial penis.’
Sara mentioned, “Should you find yourself at the Dubai airport with these items, they’ll be taken away from you and a warning will be given.”
To begin with Sara, the palm reader shared that ‘Love this year may not be favorable’ and advised her to exercise caution regarding someone.
‘Akin has to go,’ Saba said.
Brooks got really sick after eating cheese because she was lactose intolerant.
Stanbury asked the palm reader if she would have another baby.
‘One,’ the palm reader said. ‘Boy.’
‘I’ve got a boy on ice,’ Stanbury said.
In her private thoughts, Lesa stated confidently, “There’s no doubt in our minds that this isn’t genuine, as we’re certain there won’t be a birth of this baby.”
The palm ready told Brooks to try to control her emotions with meditation.
After dinner, the women danced outside and Stanbury jumped on a float in the pool.
As I embarked on this journey, I decided to loosen up and enjoy myself, something I wouldn’t have done if Sergio were with me. He has a knack for reining me in and making sure we get home on time.
