I’m really excited about Avatar: Fire and Ash! It’s been doing great, both with critics and at the box office. Right now, it has a 66% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which seems pretty good to me.
According to The New York Post, the series is a massive and incredibly detailed spectacle unlike anything else Hollywood has produced. The reviewer admitted to being amazed multiple times during the 195-minute film, even laughing in disbelief at how such impressive effects were achieved.
Empire Magazine noted that while this installment doesn’t drastically change the overall story, it’s an incredibly impressive visual experience – completely immersive and technically brilliant.
Our review gave this third film three stars, and we felt it was visually impressive, but suffered from feeling repetitive. The story largely retread familiar ground, using the same ‘chase and rescue’ plot we’ve already seen in Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water.
You can now pre-order ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ on Prime Video, with the movie scheduled to be available starting March 31st. A release date for Disney+ hasn’t been announced yet.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant 100-page tribute to Harry Styles, is now available! You can find it at newsstands or purchase it online.
