JLS's Oritsé Williams ignites bitter public feud with ex Aimée Jade Azari as he claims she is 'blocking their son from seeing star's severely ill mother'

As a devoted fan of JLS, I find myself deeply saddened and troubled by the public feud between Oritsé Williams and his ex-partner Aimée Jade Azari. Having grown up watching Oritsé struggle to balance his pop star dreams with his responsibilities as a young carer for his mother, it’s heartbreaking to see him fight for the right to see his own son, Omre, under such distressing circumstances.

Oritsé Williams, a renowned singer from the group JLS, has sparked a heated public dispute with his former partner Aimée Jade Azari. The conflict stems from Williams’ allegation that Azari is preventing their son from visiting his gravely ill grandmother.

In the spirit of transparency, I felt compelled to share my recent experience on social media platforms, where I revealed a challenging situation involving my eight-year-old son, Omre, and Aimée Jade (AJ). Unfortunately, it appears that AJ is preventing our son from visiting his mother, which has been exacerbating my stress levels and negatively impacting my health.

In 2016, the duo parted ways, approximately one and a half years following AJ’s delivery of Omre. Since then, Oritsé has found new love and wed Kazz Kumar.

However, his ex-spouse countered these allegations on Instagram, stating that their personal issues had already been settled in a court of law and accusing him of spreading unfounded stories.

AJ chose not to address Oritsé’s latest remarks point-blank, instead accusing him of being self-centered and labeling him a narcissist. She criticized him for focusing more on managing his public image rather than genuinely caring as a parent.

On the platform previously known as Twitter, Oritsé expressed: “I’ve always thought that one could inspire love and unity in anyone, but lately, I find myself doubting that assumption.”

For nearly a decade, I’ve been trying to be part of his life, extending countless unspoken gestures of reconciliation. My hope was that, one day, these efforts would lead us to find harmony, ultimately benefiting our shared child.

In his second tweet, he posted a photo of his mother alongside Omre and penned: ‘She understands my mom suffers from Multiple Sclerosis, an illness that progressively worsens. She’s aware that stress exacerbates her symptoms. The numerous times we’ve seen her cry as a family due to not being able to meet her grandchild have deeply affected us.’

In response to the allegations, AJ posted on her Instagram Story expressing her viewpoint, stating: “I appreciate everyone’s messages. I am well-versed in handling this kind of situation. Nothing surprises me anymore, as I’ve heard it all before. Everything being said currently, including comments about my ex partner’s family members, has already been discussed in court.”

When a narcissist is exposed for their actions, they may intensely attempt to discredit or accuse you. They can manipulate a fresh resource and persuade anyone willing to listen to spin their fabricated stories and their distorted account of the incidents they’ve concocted.

Instead of prioritizing the reality of parenting and owning up to their actions, it seems that how they present themselves as parents and the image they portray holds greater significance for them.

Given the circumstances surrounding this issue, the parties involved, and the fact that it’s a topic that has previously been addressed in court, I won’t be addressing the recent comments at present.

In 2009, Oritsé gained popularity as one of the four members of the band JLS. Earlier, he shared that one major motivation behind his career as a pop star was to provide financial support for his mother’s care.

Back in April, I graced the screens of Good Morning Britain, and let me tell you, it wasn’t just about showbiz or fame. I was sharing a piece of my heart, a story from my past that shaped who I am today. At only 12 years old, life took an unexpected turn when I found myself stepping up to become the primary caregiver for my mom, my two-year-old sister Naomi, and my 10-year-old brother Temisan. It’s a role that has defined my journey, and I wear it as a badge of honor.

The star asked for more support for all young carers in the UK, recalling his own struggle looking after his mother as a child.

As a devoted supporter, I can’t stress enough the need for additional aid for young caregivers nationwide. They deserve not just help but recognition for the extraordinary, extraordinary jobs they consistently perform.

In response to being asked about what could’ve made things easier for him while caring for his mom, Oritsé expressed that he needed more empathy. During his school years, he constantly felt exhausted.

It turns out I didn’t manage to finish my homework on schedule; the reason isn’t that I misbehaved, but rather, I was overwhelmed by my caregiving duties and ran out of energy.

It seems to me that if adults had been more empathetic and considerate towards my unique situation, I would have felt much more encouraged and nurtured. I believe this is an aspect that many young caregivers could greatly benefit from.
