I’m really excited about the new Club Selection pack in
Many players might hesitate to spend their in-game currency on this pack, but I think a few of the cards can really make a difference to your team if you use them strategically. Here’s my full review of the Liverpool R Club Selection pack, and I’ll share which players I think will be most effective in your eFootball 2026 lineup.
eFootball 2026 Liverpool R Club Selection players
Virgil van Dijk
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
This player is exactly what you expect – a reliable defender who consistently performs well, regardless of what the stats say. He excels in the air, easily wins one-on-one battles thanks to his impressive reach, and always seems to be in the right place at the right time.
The main thing to be aware of is his speed. Players who push their defensive line high or press a lot might find him difficult to handle. I’ve tried to give him decent speed, but that quick burst of acceleration can be a real problem for opponents.
Florian Wirtz
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
This card is definitely the best in the pack. It’s the only one getting special attention, meaning its stats can be boosted even further. Plus, its dribbling ability is incredibly high, especially considering it’s a free-to-play card – that’s a huge advantage!
This card is a great addition to any offensive team, and easily fits into most lineups. It’s particularly valuable for free-to-play players. With the potential to reach 104 at the wing position, it’s a card you won’t want to skip.
Ryan Gravenberch
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Box to Box
He might not seem like an obvious choice at first, but he’s surprisingly effective. While he’s primarily a defensive player, he’s also quite skilled with the ball. He’s a solid defensive midfielder, but would benefit from having a few more defensive abilities to really excel.
I believe positioning him a bit further forward, into a central midfield role, is key to unlocking his full potential. He covers a lot of ground, contributes to both offense and defense, and is surprisingly smooth with the ball. He’s a really well-rounded player, and consistently effective.
Hugo Ekitike
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
This forward is a classic example of a player who excels at the fundamentals. He possesses all the key qualities you look for – good positioning, a knack for scoring from within the penalty area, and sufficient speed to be a constant danger to opponents.
He’s more than just a player who waits for passes. He can actually run with the ball, is physically strong, and holds his own in challenges with opponents. While not a top-level player, he’s reliable and can perform well if his strengths are utilized.
Giorgi Mamardashvili
- Position: GK
- Playing Style: Defensive Goalkeeper
He’s a large and imposing goalkeeper who commands his area. His size alone makes it difficult for opponents to score, especially on long-range shots and when crosses come into the box.
When he’s playing, he reminds you of a young Thibaut Courtois. However, based on his stats and the strong competition for the starting goalkeeper spot in a defensive-minded team, he’s probably more suited as a reliable backup than a guaranteed starter.
Milos Kerkez
- Position: LB
- Playing Style: Offensive Wingback
He’s a fast and energetic player who consistently runs the sideline throughout the entire game without getting tired. While he defends well enough, his offensive contributions might lack a little spark when he gets closer to the goal.
He’s currently a reliable and functional fullback, but with some development in his overall game, he could become a more dynamic passer.
Conor Bradley
- Position: RB
- Playing Style: Offensive Wingback
This player is a lot like Kerkez – quick and well-rounded. They’re dependable in all areas, but don’t particularly excel at anything specific. If you’re familiar with attacking fullbacks, you’ll have a good idea of what this player offers.
Giovanni Leoni
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Destroyer
He’s a physically imposing and reliable defender, consistently winning duels and holding his position. However, his lack of pace is a significant weakness. He can be exposed by quicker opponents, which restricts how effectively he can be used.
Given his current age, this player seems more like a long-term prospect – one worth watching for potential improvements and stronger versions in the future.
Should you go for the Liverpool R Club Selection draw
When I looked at the Manchester City Club Selection pack a while back, I noticed more players were getting featured individually. That trend continues here, and this pack seems even more appealing. I think Wirtz is the only player who really makes this pack worthwhile, though the others are pretty good.
