As a dedicated follower of pop culture and music, I must say that Snoop Dogg has been stealing the show at this year’s Paris Olympics! His energetic spirit and love for his country are truly infectious, and it’s clear he’s having the time of his life.

1. He has unexpectedly become the recognizable figure for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, making appearances at various events like equestrian, after his memorable moment carrying the torch.

On Saturday, Snoop Dogg returned to his usual activities, sporting a stylish and patriotic outfit suitable for the Olympics while enjoying the Men’s Basketball Quarter Final.

At Paris’ Bercy Arena, the 52-year-old rapper and WNBA sensation A’ja Wilson watched intently as Team USA battled against Brazil in a tense game, seated comfortably on the sidelines.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I found myself completely immersed in the game, much like Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., or Snoop Dogg as he’s popularly known. I was clapping along with the rhythm and cheering on the players, expressing my unbridled support for their performance.

Besides him, his backing likewise stretched to his attire, where a white T-shirt and matching shorts, decorated with both American flags and the Olympic rings symbol, were included.

To finish off his outfit, Snoop donned red American socks, wore a black flat hat, put on dark sunglasses, and displayed a gold necklace with an Eiffel Tower embellished by diamonds.

Meanwhile A’ja, 28,put on a leggy display in white Ralph Lauren shorts and a matching polo top.

After adopting a customary practice of U.S. presidents, Snoop made an unexpected call to the women who won medals in the 200-meter final for Track and Field during the 2024 Paris Olympics following his appearance.

In the shared Facebook Reel on the Team USA Track and Field account, the esteemed hip-hop artist (age 52) can be heard praising three women, saying, “You’re doing great! Keep it up!”

The video showcased Gabby Thomas, the new gold medalist for Team USA, Julien Alfred, who brought pride to Saint Lucia as a silver medalist, and Brittany Brown, another member of Team USA, who claimed the bronze medal.

Pumped up about her achievements at the games and thrilled to be conversing with the Doggystyle legend himself, Brown couldn’t help but mention to the renowned rapper that she hails from Pomona, California – a city only 45 miles northeast of his birthplace, Long Beach, California.

As a fellow Pomona native, I wanted to share with you, Snoop Dogg, my pride in our shared hometown. Growin’ up in this city, I’ve seen it all – from its vibrant culture and community spirit to the challenges we face together. It’s always a special feeling when one of our own achieves greatness on a global scale, like you have with your incredible music career. Keeping it 100%, Pomona is more than just a location on a map – it’s a part of who we are and where we come from. So, shout out to you, Snoop Dogg, for representing our city with class and making us proud. Keep on keepin’ on! #PomonaStrong 🌞🌴💪

For which Snoop quickly replied: ‘You already know — most definitely. Y’all made me proud today.’

During the significant sports event, Snoop, acting as NBC’s special ambassador, was omnipresent at the Olympics, providing commentary and making appearances – some solo and others alongside Martha Stewart, who is 83 years old.

Back in the vibrant autumn of 2016, I, a passionate fan, found myself utterly captivated by the electrifying partnership between the legendary duo, Snoop and Martha. They teamed up right before my eyes, taking over the stage for VH1’s Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party – an experience I still cherish to this day!

Prior to attending the Olympics, Snoop Dogg had been putting in a lot of effort towards his forthcoming 12th studio album, titled “Missionary.”

In late 2022, the rapper began openly discussing his work on fresh tunes across his social media platforms.

Snoop Dogg’s current album is being created by his long-term partner, Dr. Dre. It was Dr. Dre who launched Snoop’s career by releasing the hit single “Deep Cover” and producing his first studio album, “Doggystyle,” back in 1993.

On the Stephen A. Smith podcast named “Know Mercy”, Snoop shared with his followers that it will be completed by November.

As a diehard fan, I can’t help but feel like I’ve been transported back to the golden age of my idol’s music with this new album, “Missionary.” It’s as if I’ve found a time capsule filled with the raw, unfiltered sound of his early ’90s releases – pure magic!
