The question arises: Where did this phrase originate, and which parties have truly severed ties with CS2 forever?

After many years of dedication and enjoyment, I’ve decided to call it quits with CS2. The last few years have been a fantastic journey, and I owe it all to this incredible community that has supported me every step of the way. However, I can’t sugarcoat it: CS2 is not what it used to be for me anymore. Just as many jokes contain an element of reality, so too does this post. Although CS2 has experienced a more seamless launch than its predecessors, it’s hard to deny that for many gamers, the game isn’t quite as refined as the latter stages of CS:GO. This topic was among the points debated in the latest Snake and Banter podcast by Last Free Nation.

Despite occasional hiccups such as yesterday’s release of a new float bug, which seems to be part of an effort to address jumping issues, Valve continues to roll out updates regularly to polish their work. They promptly addressed the bug with a patch, but it’s important to note that this is only a temporary fix. There’s still room for improvement before Counter-Strike 2 can be declared the smoothest version of the game in the long run.
