As a seasoned observer of the entertainment industry, I must say that the recent string of allegations against Strictly Come Dancing is truly disheartening. Having spent countless hours watching this beloved show, it’s disappointing to see such dark clouds gathering over its once gleaming reputation.

On Friday evening, after an exhilarating night out at London’s Chiltern Firehouse, I returned home with a heart full of joy and high spirits, feeling every bit the dedicated follower of good times that I am.

68-year-old television personality, radiant with joy, reconnected with his ex-partners from Strictly Come Dancing, among them being Janette Manrara, as they all indulged in a lavish night out at an exclusive celebrity hangout.

In a stylish combination of taupe and black, complete with a shirt and trousers, the judge from Britain’s Got Talent looked sharp and energetic while taking pictures with fans outside.

Following my delightful meal, I found myself engaged in a friendly spar with an excitable fan on my stroll towards my vehicle.

He then hopped into his stylish blue sports car before zooming off into the night.

The venue welcomed several attendees from Strictly Come Dancing, among them being Sid Owens, who danced with Ola Jordan while he competed in 2012.

The former EastEnders actor, 52, beamed as he chatted on his phone while making his way outside.

Apart from the host Janette, elegantly attired in a plush white coat, current professional dancer Katya Jones was also present at the event.

The group, which included Olympian Aimee Fuller, was filled with high spirits as they had spent an enjoyable evening together.

Katya, aged 35, was radiant in a see-through metallic blouse paired with unique flared-bottom jeans and ankle boots.

She draped an arm over Janette, 40, who wore a white knitted jacket with a sparkly silver crop top.

The presenter complemented her fashionable ensemble with a classy pair of black slacks and sparkling high heels.

Professional snowboarder Aimee, aged 33, sporting a stylish blue two-piece outfit and black heels, also arrived.

Currently, Strictly is experiencing its most significant challenge in its 20-year history, with a flood of accusations from former celebrity participants emerging over the past few months concerning allegations of ‘mistreatment’ and ‘harassment’.

30-year-old dancer Graziano Di Prima was removed from the program after allegations surfaced that he physically assaulted and spat at his dance partner Zara McDermott, aged 27, during practice sessions.

I was utterly horrified to learn that he was reportedly pursuing Zara while hurling vile insults at her, causing her such fear that she sought refuge in a restroom. Not only did he allegedly call her despicable names, but he also questioned her weight and displayed an unsettling level of forcefulness. The result? A heart-wrenching scene of her looking dejected, tears streaming down her face. It’s unbearable to think about.

Later on, Graziano acknowledged his action of kicking the Love Island celebrity and expressed regret through a statement. However, he mentioned that other accusations don’t correspond with his personal recollections of the incident.

Previously, Zara mentioned in a statement that she experienced some very upsetting events within the training room, which she chose not to report at the time because she was afraid of facing criticism or negative consequences.

Previously, at the start of the investigation by BBC, Giovanni Pernice, aged 33, faced suspension due to allegations of inappropriate behavior off camera, which were brought up by Amanda Abbington, 50, as well as two other ex-celebrity partners.

The actress recently appeared in an emotionally charged interview with Channel 4, where she compared the show to ‘the trenches’ and claims BBC producers had been left ‘horrified’ by clips that also allegedly exhibited ‘humiliating behaviour of a sexual nature’.

Last year, the popular actress playing Sherlock chose to leave the dancing competition abruptly, explaining it as a matter of personal issues. Later, rumors emerged suggesting she had asked for recordings of her rehearsals following an incident on the show that affected her and her dance partner, leading to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

In response to accusations of off-camera misconduct, including claims by Amanda and other celebrities, Giovanni, who has emphatically denied any involvement in threatening or abusive behavior, voluntarily left the show. The BBC subsequently initiated an investigation into these allegations.

Amanda asserted that Giovanni attempted to prevent her legal team from obtaining up to 50 hours of allegedly harmful video footage, as producers were compelled to install cameras in the dance studio following her report of bullying to the BBC.

A representative for Giovanni stated that the claims made against him by the BBC are different from those presented by Amanda to Channel 4. In other words, the allegations shared by the BBC do not align with Amanda’s recent accusations in any way. Giovanni denies any claim of threatening or abusive behavior towards anyone.
