Adele FINALLY confirms engagement to Rich Paul as she tells fans she's 'getting married' and flashes ring on stage in Munich

As a seasoned concert-goer with memories of legendary performances etched into my heart, I can confidently say that the energy surrounding Adele’s residency in Germany’s third largest city is electrifying! The economic impact of this run of shows is impressive, and it’s fascinating to see how fans from far and wide are making their way to the venue.

On a Friday night in Munich, during her residency, Adele officially announced her engagement to Rich Paul.

36-year-old singer announced to her fans that she is set to get married as she displayed her new diamond ring during a performance at the spacious, open-air stadium designed for 80,000 spectators.

In a quiet, private affair last month, Adele accepted a proposal from Richard Paul, the 42-year-old founder of Klutch Sports Group, whom she has been dating since 2021. The special moment took place in her home city, Tottenham, North London.

Responding to a sign in the crowd that said “Will you marry me?”, Adele replied, “I can’t accept your proposal as I am already set to get married!”

She performed the first of her ten dates in Munich last weekend as an incredible 75,000 fans attended in the purpose built stadium for the star.

In the past week, Adele subtly suggested her alleged engagement to her partner Rich by starting her much-anticipated residency in Munich.

The singer known for “The Hello” mentioned something related to her private affairs, saying to the audience, “What’s happening in my personal life? Nothing, as I’ve been preparing for this.” (or alternatively, “What has been happening in my personal life? Absolutely nothing, as I’ve been focusing on this.”)

Contrary to persistent speculation for several months that Adele and Rich were already wed, it was asserted that they had recently become engaged instead.

Word on the street is that basketball agent Rich is said to have proposed secretly while they were in Tottenham, London, according to The Sun.

It wasn’t by chance that the place was chosen; Rich intentionally chose it as a way to express his affection for Adele, given rumors suggesting she might be planning to return to the United Kingdom.

Last year, there had been whispers about me that this beloved duo had exchanged vows secretly, but it wasn’t until Alan Carr’s comedy spectacle in L.A., where I happened to be present, that the speculations seemed to solidify. Two lucky onlookers shared with Deuxmoi the thrilling tidings of their union, making me feel like I was part of an exclusive inner circle!

A bystander shared: “Tonight, I attended Alan Carr’s comedy performance in Los Angeles, and guess who was there? None other than Adele! At one point, Alan asked if anyone had recently tied the knot, and Adele enthusiastically responded, ‘I did!'”

At a cozy performance, someone in the crowd exclaimed about the host asking about recent marriages: “She shouted, ‘I did!’ It was adorable and heartwarming, but she left just as it was wrapping up.”

In an exciting turn of events, I found myself seated near Adele, who appeared to be enjoying herself immensely alongside a companion. Remarkably, her security personnel would occasionally pop by to deliver treats for her.

‘She didn’t care if people knew she was there. She was heckling him – they’re best friends.’

Rich was then asked by CBS host Gayle King about the rumours he and Adele have tied the knot.

Could I check if it’s appropriate for me to call Adele ‘Mrs. Paul’ when we communicate in the future, the next time I speak with her?

Richard acted evasively, remarking, “Feel free to speak as you wish,” prior to stating that he isn’t one to share his private life with the public or media.

During her Las Vegas show in September, Adele referred to Rich as her spouse, fueling rumors that they might have gotten married.

In the summer of 2021, the couple made their relationship official by attending an NBA match together, sitting side by side in the stands.

For approximately a year now, the Grammys’ award recipient has sported a radiant pear-cut diamond ring on her left hand’s ring finger.

Previously, when questioned about it, she stated that it wasn’t an engagement ring; instead, she enjoys expensive jewelry.

In the years between 2018 and 2021, Adele was wedded to businessman Simon Konecki. Together, they have an 11-year-old son named Angelo.

On Friday’s performance, disrupted by unexpected weather advisories, the renowned star had to momentarily halt her show due to an awkward wardrobe mishap that required immediate attention right on stage.

At midnight, the singer captivated the audience with her powerful performance, donning a long dress of deep blue, reminiscent of the night sky. She sang her chart-toppers, bringing joy to her passionate fans.

During her performance, Adele’s wet dress – boasting an expansive train that spread sideways and across the stage – was a result of it being drenched by heavy rain. This temporary pause in the concert was due to the water absorption by the dress.

Speaking to the crowd, she lamented, “Regrettably, I must step away from this beautiful train as it’s become damp and heavy.” Then, turning to her backup singers, she asked, “Ladies, could you assist me?”

As the show went on, I couldn’t help but think: “Thank goodness there’s no thunderstorm ruining the mood. Whew!”

After receiving an update about the weather, I learned that it wouldn’t rain before the performance. This made me decide to wear my extravagant gown with the long train, feeling quite pompous. Backstage under the stage, I found myself hiding.

While her backup singers were busy detaching the train from her dress, Adele chimed in: “I can sense your presence here. You guys over there in the corner, you’re really setting a great mood, but then one of you caught me off guard when they said ‘We can see you under there,’ and I was standing in just my underwear!”

‘Anyway I’m gonna go into another song for you, this dress is quite complicated.’

When Adele’s performers exited the stage while holding the soaked costume, she called out: “Thank you ladies, see it dripping!” (Informal)

During the performance, it was the first time in seven years that the artist sang her popular song, Chasing Pavements, somewhere else on stage.

The star released the single as part of her debut studio album, 19 in 2008.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself compelled to address the recent uproar among Adele’s devoted fanbase. They’ve voiced their frustration towards Ticketmaster, claiming that early ticket purchasers were treated unfairly, without transparency, and in an exploitative manner. This is certainly a concerning allegation, and it’s essential to strive for fairness and transparency in all transactions, especially when dealing with passionate fan communities like Adele’s.

Supporters of Adele were disheartened when they initiated a petition on Change.org to tackle problems associated with the sales process for her concert series in Munich, which began on Friday night. The petition was born out of feelings of being let down by the singer.

During the span of 10 concerts, the artist famous for “Someone Like You” will perform for a grand total of 740,000 fans, as she takes center stage at the specially constructed Munich Messe stadium, especially designed for her performances during her time in the city.

Although not every fan was successful in purchasing tickets for the event, they have appealed to Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Leutgeb Entertainment Group to ensure fair ticket distribution.

They argued that during the presale initial fans were assigned overpriced tickets, while later cheaper tickets where then released.

Titled ‘Expose the SCAM: Ticketmaster, LiveNation & Leutgeb’s Adele Munich Concert Mismanagement’, their statement began: ‘This petition addresses serious issues surrounding Adele’s upcoming 10 concerts in Munich in August 2024.

A large number of enthusiasts express a sense of disappointment and mistrust towards Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and the Leutgeb Entertainment Group, as they believe these entities employ unjust and profit-driven tactics in ticket sales.

By Friday night, a total of 841 individuals had added their names to the petition, with enthusiasts aiming to collect 1,000 signatures.

In the presale process, fans were unfairly treated by being intentionally deceived with underhanded tactics and manipulated scarcity. They were forced to register for queue links and endure long waiting periods, only to be given overpriced tickets that were typically located far from each other.

Later on, I was thrilled when more affordable and well-positioned seats became available! However, the pre-sale registration claim that “demand would outstrip the number of tickets” felt like a calculated move to rush fans into purchasing swiftly. Now, looking back, it seemed like an underhanded tactic to me.

As someone who has been to numerous concerts and events over the years, I can’t help but feel frustrated when I see a situation like this unfold. The addition of new sections near the stage at a lower price after the initial presale feels like a slap in the face to those who bought their tickets early. It’s disheartening to think that my hard-earned money could have been spent more wisely if I had just waited a bit longer to make my purchase. This kind of tactic not only unfairly disadvantages early buyers, but it also tarnishes the reputation of the event as a whole. It’s a bait-and-switch strategy that leaves a bad taste in my mouth and makes me question whether I want to support such an organization in the future.

In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I often encounter situations where ticket transfers or resales are essential. However, one challenge I’ve noticed is that some platforms do not facilitate this process easily. This can be quite inconvenient for those who may find themselves unable to attend an event they’ve purchased tickets for, and would like the option to pass them on or sell them to someone else.

I’ve found myself in a similar situation, where fellow fans who unfortunately can’t make it to the Adele concerts and aim to resell their expensive presale tickets are encountering challenges.

The event organizers have made it impossible to switch or sell the tickets, leaving ticket-holders unable to recover their expenses. Consequently, this decision has resulted in a rise of fraudulent activities on marketplaces such as Facebook and eBay.

Although multiple buyers had asked for it, the organizers only just revealed that certain features would become available a week prior to the events – something that wasn’t shared when tickets were initially purchased.

The postponement has led ticket owners to feel deceived and confused, since Ticketmaster didn’t meet their promised timely service, and now they may incur financial losses with the events approaching swiftly.

‘Notably, such features are activated immediately for other concerts.’

As a seasoned concert-goer with years of experience navigating ticket purchasing platforms, I find it disheartening to encounter such practices as misleading advertising and fraudulent activity on Ticketmaster Marketplace. It seems that information regarding resale tickets has been altered retroactively, which not only undermines trust in the platform but also results in a waste of time and resources for consumers like myself who are seeking genuine ticket options. I strongly believe that platforms such as these should prioritize transparency and honesty in their dealings to maintain a positive reputation and foster long-term relationships with customers.

Ultimately, they announced that the leftover tickets would be sold for €35, employing a ‘last-minute draw’ approach to guarantee no seats were vacant, as they had been finding it difficult to sell them all previously.

They explained: ‘Ultimately, the reason for the 35€ ticket price isn’t due to concern for those who might not be able to afford it, as suggested by Klaus Leutgeb – the promoters aren’t interested in that aspect – but because a large number of seats would otherwise go unused.’

As a long-time consumer of various events and activities, I find it deeply disheartening to witness yet another instance where promoters prioritize profits over people. Having paid exorbitant prices for tickets in the past, I can empathize with those who feel duped by these practices. It’s not only frustrating but also demoralizing when legitimate criticisms are met with indifference and those who speak out are silenced. This experience has made me more cautious about supporting such events in the future, as it seems that some promoters are more interested in their own gain rather than providing a fair and enjoyable experience for their customers.

‘Fans are deeply frustrated and disappointed by these unfair and misleading practices.

The poor handling of this situation has resulted in a great deal of unhappiness among many people, as well as substantial financial and emotional strain. This has sparked worries about the honesty, impartiality, and reliability of the ticketing procedure. In fact, some supporters are expressing hope for cancellations, as they feel taken advantage of and deceived.

They ended by urging action, stating firmly: ‘It is crucial that Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Leutgeb Entertainment Group comply with our requests.’

– Correct the unjust, opaque, and exploitative handling towards early purchasers who overpaid significantly.

– Start using the Resale feature right away for secure and equitable ticket swaps. [Please note, as of July 29, 2024, it’s no longer possible to use Resale on Ticketmaster Marketplace.]

As a long-time concertgoer who has struggled to afford tickets due to exorbitant prices and deceptive sales practices from Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Leutgeb Entertainment Group, I wholeheartedly support this petition. I’ve missed out on seeing my favorite artists because of their overpriced and exploitative ticketing processes, and it’s time for a change. We deserve fair and transparent ticket prices, free from hidden fees and deception. That’s why I demand an immediate end to these unfair practices and call for full refunds for those who have been affected. It’s high time that the music industry prioritizes its fans and provides us with accessible and affordable entertainment experiences.

TopMob have contacted both Adele and Ticketmaster representatives for comment.

On a spectacular note, Adele made an entrance when she stepped onto the stage in Munich for the kick-off of her ten-show run in the city last Friday.

In a stunning midnight blue gown, the artist behind the smash hit “Easy On Me” captivated the audience with her powerful performances, making the stage her own while delivering her chart-topping tunes.

Choosing her customarily elegant style, Adele certainly lived up to expectations. She let down her golden hair in bouncy cascades of curls and added a touch of glamour with some shimmering silver hoop earrings.

Excitement for Adele has taken over Munich, Germany, with throngs of enthusiastic fans flocking to the city before her eagerly awaited performance residency.

In simple terms, it’s projected that the series of performances will inject over half a billion British pounds into the economic fabric of Germany’s third biggest urban center.

Additionally, the venue offered a subsequent segment that showcased an impersonator band of the Spice Girls and a talented magician.

As a dedicated fan, I eagerly joined the line that stretched for over two hours, all in anticipation of boarding a unique merchandise bus dedicated to none other than Adele. The items on offer ranged from a £25 tote bag, an £85 hoodie, £3.50 Adele-themed Haribos, and £30 umbrellas. I was more than willing to wait and splurge!

Undaunted by the dire weather forecasts predicting heavy thunderstorms, crowds flocked to fill up the sprawling 74,000-seater stadium.

As the star, known for her honesty, openly discussed her apprehensions about the show, she posted a backstage photo and confessed that she was “quite nervous” before the act.

At the stadium, the preview was shown on the screens about two and a half hours before her scheduled stage appearance at 7:30 pm, as she playfully tantalized the audience.

After finishing her makeup, Adele posed for the photo while seated, her hair styled in curlers, and displayed a playful pout. In her hand was a homemade sign that said: “I can hardly wait! I’m absolutely nervous!” with an added smiley face.

Prior to the concert, TopMob addressed a sea of enthusiastic fans who had amassed early at the venue. One particularly dedicated fan was spotted sporting customized Crocs inspired by Adele.

Daniel, the enthusiastic fan, was undoubtedly sauntering through the depths as he showcased his stylish, white sneakers embellished with star images and song titles.

Alongside wearing Crocs, Daniel demonstrated his commitment to the show by sharing an account of their intricate voyage from the UK to Germany, which they undertook in an effort to economize during their travel.

He told TopMob: ‘I’m really pleased at how we managed to save an absolute fortune by not flying Birmingham to Munich, which was an option.

Instead, we first traveled to a London airport, then took a train to Duesseldorf and another one to Munich. We chose to stay about 20 minutes outside the city because hotel rates were lower there. Conveniently, we can hop on a 4-euro train ride into the city center whenever we’re ready.

Despite the intricacies involved, everyone managed to put away savings exceeding 1,000 pounds each – a sum greater than the entire cost of our vacation (flight, hotel, and tickets combined). This is significant since it allows us to splurge a bit on entertainment like drinks and meals.

I’ve found this experience enjoyable thus far, yet there seems to be a challenge in obtaining still water rather than sparkling. Additionally, the customer service could use a bit more friendliness when handling payments.

However, despite saving over £1k on travel from Birmingham, Daniel was still shocked at the ‘astronomical’ prices of merchandise.

As a longtime concert-goer and self-proclaimed bargain hunter, I can certainly relate to this sentiment! I too have found myself torn between my desire to snag some exclusive merchandise at a concert and the often exorbitant prices that come with it. On one hand, I’d love to own a unique piece of memorabilia from my favorite artist or event, but on the other, I can’t justify spending an arm and a leg for something that might not even hold much sentimental value in the long run. Instead, I take comfort in the compliments I receive about my quirky Crocs, which serve as a constant reminder of the fun times I’ve had at past concerts without breaking the bank. So here’s to enjoying the little things in life and finding joy in the unexpected!
