Dafne Keen stuns in a red figure-hugging halterneck dress as she steps out for the It Ends With Us London screening in yet another Deadpool & Wolverine crossover
As a seasoned movie enthusiast with a soft spot for romance novels-turned-films, I must say that the trailer for “It Ends With Us” has definitely piqued my interest. Having seen Blake Lively shine on screen in various roles over the years, I am eagerly anticipating her portrayal of Lily Bloom.
At the premiere of “It Ends With Us” in London, Dafne Keen captivated everyone in a tight-fitting red halter dress, evoking memories of her roles as both Deadpool’s daughter and Wolverine’s sidekick.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the incredible performance of the 19-year-old British-Spanish actress who played Laura, the young clone of everyone’s favorite mutant, Wolverine, in Logan, starring alongside the legendary Hugh Jackman.
Subsequently, she once again took up the role in Marvel’s joint superhero movie “Deadpool & Wolverine,” where both Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds star, with a brief appearance by Blake Lively, her spouse.
I am proudly spearheading the promotional efforts for my upcoming movie, “It Ends With Us.” My journey with this project has led me to share numerous stages with the remarkable Dafne, most recently at the screening in Leicester Square on Thursday. These joint appearances between us from our two films have become a string of memorable events that I cherish.
At the screening, Dafne dazzled in a tightly-fitted, fiery red dress embellished with roses, featuring ruching details.
Previously famous young actress complemented her style with red high-heels and pulled back her brown hair into an elegant bun.
In the past, I had the privilege of portraying a young mutant character in the 2017 superhero movie, Logan – the concluding chapter of the Wolverine trilogy.
The adolescent has hidden all information about her participation in the project and even dismissed rumors suggesting she might appear in the Deadpool and Wolverine movie.
“Indeed, it’s quite sad. I hold a deep affection for Hugh, Ryan [Reynolds], and Shawn [Levy]. My anticipation is high to witness their latest creation. In my opinion, Shawn is currently among the top-tier directors in the industry.”
As an ardent admirer, I wouldn’t hesitate to label Ryan Reynolds, the man who brought Deadpool to life since 2016, as nothing short of a legend. If given the chance, being part of this extraordinary film would have been a dream come true for me.
‘I’ll just go watch it as a fan, to see my old buddy in it,’ she said, referring to Hugh.
Following the unveiling of the latest trailer, Dafne confessed that she couldn’t help but shout out loud when her agent broke the news that she would reprise her role as X-23 in the forthcoming movie.
As a seasoned smartphone user who has accidentally dropped my device in water more times than I care to admit, I can empathize with this individual’s predicament. Dropping a phone in the bath is never a pleasant experience, and having to resort to the age-old remedy of rice seems like an unnecessary inconvenience. The stress and anxiety that follows when you fear for the life of your precious gadget is palpable, and I can imagine her heart racing as she waited for her phone to dry out. Moreover, losing access to our phones can feel like a disconnection from our digital selves; it’s hard not to worry that we might forget how to navigate our own lives without the constant connection to our devices. It’s a humbling reminder of our reliance on technology and the fragility of the tools that keep us connected in today’s world.
To her surprise, once cameras started rolling, she felt like they ‘were back doing Logan.’
‘It was like eight years hadn’t passed,’ the actress raved.
In a trailer released last month, she is briefly shown conversing with Hugh, who says to her: ‘Regardless of who you believe I am, you’ve got the wrong person.’
‘You were always the wrong guy, till you weren’t,’ she reminds him.
On a Friday, Blake made an appearance on Lorraine during her promotional tour for “It Ends With Us.” She shared insights on how she personally interprets the tale.
In the movie version of Colleen Hoover’s book titled “Lily Bloom,” the actress takes on the role of florist character, Lily Bloom.
‘I never really looked at it as a story about darkness or hope necessarily,’ Blake said.
‘I view this as a narrative deeply rooted in women’s experiences, encompassing a rich tapestry of emotions such as joy, pain, levity, trauma, sadness, possibility, and a sense of the future, past, and present. I believe it is this multi-dimensional quality that allows the story to resonate with so many readers.’
The story revolves around Lily, a proprietor of a flower shop, navigating a tangled love affair involving Ryle, a charismatic neurosurgeon portrayed by Justin Baldoni (who also directs), and Atlas, her former high school sweetheart, whose endearing demeanor is brought to life by Brandon Sklenar.
However, upon experiencing Ryle’s aggressive outburst which makes her suspect he could be an abusive partner, she seeks assistance from Atlas following their reunion when she encounters him at the restaurant where he is employed.
The movie is adapted from a popular romance novel titled the same as its author, Colleen Hoover, which gained significant acclaim among readers following its release in 2016.
After being pushed back multiple times, the film’s release date is August 9.
