Tish Cyrus looks loved up with Dominic Purcell to support daughter Miley Cyrus at Hannah Montana event

Tish Cyrus and her husband, Dominic Purcell, showed off their affection for each other at the celebration for the 20th anniversary of ‘Hannah Montana’ on Monday.

Tish Cyrus attended the event at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles with her partner to cheer on her daughter, Miley Cyrus.

At the event, Tish and her husband stayed very close together, practically touching as they posed for photos on the red carpet.

The pair appeared to be in high spirits as they wrapped their arms around each other. 

At one point, Tish pulled her sunglasses down and gave a cheeky smile. 

Despite the support Miley received, some members of her family were absent due to a complicated disagreement involving romantic relationships.

Tish, age 58, is reacting after news surfaced that her daughter, Noah Cyrus, previously had a romantic relationship with Dominic Purcell before Tish married him in August 2023.

Noah, age 26, wasn’t at the event, but it appears she’s made amends with her mother, Tish, after a complicated family situation.

Miley Cyrus was joined by her sister Brandi at the Hannah Montana anniversary, but her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and mother Tish’s ex-husband, wasn’t there.

For the event, the two matched in stylishly relaxed, all-black outfits. Tish paired her look with jeans and large sunglasses.

She paired a see-through blouse that showed off her abs with a large, satin blazer. She finished the outfit with fitted bootcut jeans and heeled sandals.

As for her actor husband, he wore a classic T-shirt paired with baggy jeans and Converse sneakers. 

Tish and Billy Ray were married for more than 28 years before filing for divorce in April 2022.

Throughout their marriage, Billy Ray legally adopted Tish’s children from earlier relationships, including her daughter Brandi and son Trace. They later welcomed three children of their own: Miley, Braison, and Noah.

Tish married Purcell in 2023 and now helps raise his four children from a former marriage.

Earlier this month, Tish and her daughter Noah publicly appeared to be on good terms, putting any past disagreements aside as they walked their first red carpet together.

The couple publicly reunited on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Reminders of Him’ around three years after reports surfaced about a love triangle with Dominic.

There were rumors circulating that Dominic Purcell, the actor from Prison Break, had a previous romantic involvement with Noah before he started dating her mother.

Since Noah notably missed his mother’s wedding to Purcell in 2023, the family has been working to repair their relationships.

There’s been some debate about whether Noah and Purcell had a relationship, but People magazine reported they were dating and had been intimate before he married her mother.

‘Tish knew he had been seeing Noah,’ a source claimed at the time. 

Although Noah had ended things with Purcell before getting involved with Tish, Tish never allowed Noah to discuss the situation with her before their wedding.

Late last year, Miley shared a story about a surprising gesture she made towards her father, happening while some of her siblings were going through a difficult disagreement after their parents’ divorce.

She brushed aside rumors of drama in their family in that summer and reunited with her dad. 

In June 2025, Miley revealed her family experienced a very challenging ten years, but they managed to overcome their issues and repair their relationships without seeking professional help.

Miley joked about her family’s difficulties, explaining why they never sought therapy. She said just getting everyone together for a counseling session would have caused a huge fight.

She mentioned that during a particularly difficult period, half of her family stopped communicating with each other.

‘[I] watched what happens when you don’t clean things up as they’re happening,’ Miley admitted. 

Things gradually accumulate, and before you know it, years have passed and you’re overwhelmed by a huge collection you don’t even know where to begin with. It’s like an emotional buildup of possessions.

The singer resolved those issues during a crucial time in her year, rebuilding communication with those involved.

Okay, so basically, I just dove right in, you know? I was like, “Let’s just enjoy being together first! If we can make each other happy, then we can actually talk about things and everything will be so much better.” I really believe that’s the key, honestly!

She confessed it felt simpler to give up and surrender than to try working things out with a counselor.
