The Indian digital platform specializing in gaming and sports, Nazara Technologies, has revealed its purchase of Fusebox Games, a British game development studio, at a price of approximately INR 228 crores or $27.2 million, through a cash transaction only.

Known for its engaging interactive story games such as “Love Island: The Game,” Fusebox is recognized as a pioneer in mobile games developed from intellectual properties (IP). This studio specializes in creating narrative-rich content and has fostered significant partnerships with various international television brands. Employing approximately 30 team members, the majority of whom are based in the United Kingdom.

Currently, Nazara holds a solid position within the mobile gaming and eSports world. As the owner of NODWIN Gaming, they boast an impressive collection of games such as WCC3. More recently, they’ve assumed publishing responsibilities for the upcoming multiplayer version of FAU-G: Domination, which is the next installment in the FAU-G series.

Nitish Mittersain, Founder and CEO of Nazara, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, saying: “We perceive a significant opportunity in constructing an intellectual property-focused international gaming business that leverages our strong Indian foundation. We are delighted to collaborate with Fusebox’s skilled team as we strive to make Nazara a substantial global gaming company.”
