The Walking Dead: Dead City finally gets UK release date
As a die-hard fan who has followed The Walking Dead since its inception, I can’t contain my excitement! After years of waiting, The Walking Dead: Dead City is finally making its way to our screens here in the UK. It feels like Christmas came early! Maggie and Negan’s NYC adventure has been a long time coming, and now, we’re just days away from their debut on Sky Max.
Exciting news for “The Walking Dead” enthusiasts residing in the UK, as the spinoff titled “The Walking Dead: Dead City” has officially secured a release date within your region.
Although Dead City premiered in the US back in June of last year, it has only just been announced that it will air in the UK starting from August 22. This zombie series, which follows Lauren Cohan’s character Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan as they search for her kidnapped son in New York City, is set to debut on Sky Max in the UK (as reported by RadioTimes.com).
Simultaneously, the sequel has been approved for a second season as early as July 2023. This exciting news was announced by Dan McDermott from AMC, known for broadcasting The Walking Dead Universe shows in the U.S.
