As a seasoned gamer with decades of arcade and fighting game experience under my belt, I must say, Riot Games has truly outdone themselves with the reveal of 2XKO lobbies. The nostalgia these digital arcades bring is palpable!
Here’s how to enter a match and more in 2XKO.
Riot Games unveils details regarding the lobby system in their upcoming title, 2XKO. Here’s what we currently understand about the 2XKO lobby structure.

How 2XKO lobbies work
In a 2XKO Casual room, you can challenge another player by picking “Fight,” followed by “Casual Mode.” This leads you to a waiting area. Hit the button labeled “Find a Match” and join the queue. Once a match is found, step into the bright yellow zone and commence battle!

How to challenge other players in 2XKO
1. Apart from challenging another player directly, you can choose to sit at a cabinet and let someone else issue the challenge, or join a queue for a specific cabinet. As explained by Riot Games, these lobbies aim to recreate the atmosphere of arcades, local gaming spots, and professional tournaments in the digital environment.

2XKO spectator mode and private matches
As you wait in line, feel free to observe other matches. You can do this by looking at the large screen at the front of the area or by standing behind a desk or cabinet.

As a gamer, I’ve got the cool perk of having my own private room in this game! I can create it and lead my duo partner to the farthest locker on the left. Better yet, I can extend an invitation to 16 of my friends to join us in here!

Absolutely, remember to explore the game’s personalization features. You have the chance to modify the character that appears in the lobby settings. According to Riot Games, advancing through the Battle Pass will unlock additional customization options. Future updates may also include more options for changing your character’s appearance.
