This Morning set to undergo another presenter shake-up as Craig Doyle announces he will be taking a break from the show

As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the ever-evolving landscape of television presents a fascinating study in human dynamics and professional relationships. The latest shakeup at This Morning, with Craig Doyle taking a leave for the Olympics while Josie Gibson takes over with Rylan Clark as her co-host, is just another chapter in this captivating narrative.

Craig Doyle confirmed on Wednesday that he will not be back on This Morning next week.

Instead, beginning August 12th, Josie Gibson (aged 39) will appear on ITV’s daytime show, with Rylan Clark (aged 35) filling in as a co-host since Craig (aged 53) is departing for Paris during the Olympics.

During the broadcast on Wednesday, a trailer signaled Rylan’s comeback on This Morning. Later, Craig and Josie returned to discuss another change in the presenting team following this announcement.

Feigning sadness, Craig accepted a friendly consolation from Josie, then proceeded to the Loose Women studio next door during the joint broadcast of the two shows.

Following earlier announcements made on This Morning, the new hosts have been named in place of Cat Deeley, aged 47, and Ben Shephard, both 49 years old. The pair will not be returning until September 2. Now, the latest report has arrived saying…

During the summer, various well-known personalities have been featured on the daytime program broadcasted by ITV as part of their presenting team.

Martin Frizell, editor of This Morning, stated enthusiastically: “Summer’s moments are too captivating to miss!”

1. ‘The shows will be filled to capacity regardless of the weather, as the crew on both sides of the camera will provide an abundance of entertaining content that will keep the nation in good spirits.’

I’m thrilled that Alison and Dermot are starting this venture, and along with our stellar team of hosts, who are some of the most prominent figures in television, they’ll be providing captivating content on what’s considered Britain’s largest daytime program.

Following the news that Cat and her fellow host, Ben, will be away from This Morning for a few weeks, Craig has now made his own announcement.

The newly appointed hosts, who took over the ITV daytime program in March and reportedly earn an annual wage of £555,000, are now enjoying a seven-week vacation.

During their summer vacation, different stand-in hosts will take over the program when the regular hosts are away.

On July 15, starting the summer series, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary began hosting their shows, followed by regular guests reclaiming their spots on the couch. (or: From July 15, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary initiated the summer broadcasts, with a rotation of familiar faces resuming their positions on the couch.)

Additionally, joining as hosts were Josie, Craig, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes, and Joel Dommett, and Sian Welby, who recently welcomed her baby daughter Ruby last month, also came back to hosting duties.

On September 2, ITV’s leading daytime program welcomes back Ben and Cat, while Alison and Dermot resume their hosting duties for Fridays starting September 6.

However, viewers were left baffled when the early exit was announced.

‘Ben and Cat started appearing on “This Morning” in April of this year’; ‘It seems like it’s already September… but it’s only July 11! Effectively, part-timers have been on a two-month break. What a joke!’; ‘I wonder if they will return in September. Their viewer ratings might indicate that they won’t appear again on “This Morning”.’

Many viewers appeared thrilled with the change, expressing joy upon seeing the return of Irish presenter Craig on their screens again.

Ben and Cat’s summer break comes weeks after they took time off for Easter.

During April, the duo took a break from their program for a fortnight. Specifically, Alison and Dermot hosted the show every day from Monday through Friday during those two weeks.

In February, it was formally declared that Ben and Cat would take over as the new hosts for This Morning following several months of rumors.
