Outlander’s Sam Heughan marks show milestone with fan message
As a gamer with a soft spot for time-traveling adventures, I can’t help but feel like I’ve stumbled upon a hidden treasure chest when it comes to Outlander. Ten years of highlander drama, romance, and epic battles have kept me captivated, much like the stone circles that whisk Jamie and Claire through the ages.
Star of Outlander, Sam Heughan, took to social media to mark a significant achievement for the series by posting a heartfelt message to fans.
As a passionate fan of historical fiction and time-traveling dramas, I can’t help but be awestruck by Sam Heughan’s heartfelt Instagram post commemorating ten years since the premiere of Outlander on Starz. Having grown up in Scotland myself, I have always been captivated by the rich history and rugged landscapes that form the backdrop for this iconic series. Seeing Jamie Fraser, played so masterfully by Sam, come to life on screen has been a truly transformative experience for me, transporting me to another time and place, and stirring emotions within me that I never knew existed. I eagerly await the next chapter in the saga of this complex and compelling character, and am grateful for the talent and dedication of Sam Heughan in bringing him to life. Here’s to many more years of Outlander magic!
Sam Heughan recently posted a video on set from ‘Outlander’, wearing his Jamie costume. In the caption, he excitedly announced: “Didn’t realize it yet? This coming Friday marks a significant milestone for us fans – it’s the 10-year anniversary of ‘Outlander’! Can you believe it? A whole decade!”
He went on to say, “It’s thanks to your support, dear fans, that we exist. So, a massive thank you to each and every one of you for standing by us throughout our journey.”
Later on, the actor made a unique declaration to his followers, disclosing that he along with the crew from Outlander will appear at the PaleyFest event taking place in New York City on October 17, to commemorate the anniversary.
On October 17, the cast is set to appear at a panel discussion during ComicCon, where they’ll share insights about the forthcoming second half of Outlander’s seventh season.
“Step right up and be a part of our festivities! We’re thrilled to have you celebrate with us, the team. A big thank you goes out to all who’ve stood by us throughout the last decade!” Heughan expressed.
Outlander season 7 part 2 is set to arrive on November 22, picking up after the events of part one.
In the first part that aired in June, the storyline ended with Jamie, Claire (played by Caitriona Balfe), and Ian embarking on their journey back to their origins – Scotland, where their adventures started.
In the coming year, a new TV show called “Blood of My Blood” – a prequel to “Outlander” – will be released. This series delves into the love stories of Jamie and Claire’s parents, spanning across two different eras.
In the United States, “Outlander” is broadcast on Starz, while in the UK, it can be streamed via MGM+ on Amazon Prime Video Channels. The second half of season 7 will debut on November 22.
