Actress Joanna Page, known for her role in “Gavin & Stacey,” will be back on television screens as she teams up with the newest contestant from “Strictly Come Dancing” for a brand-new BBC program.
For the upcoming travel show airing in 2025, the actress-cum-presenter will be joining forces with her Welsh counterpart, Wynne Evans.
In the series titled “Wynne & Joanna: Adrift on the Welsh Shore,” the duo embarks on a journey, navigating the picturesque Welsh coastline and eventually arriving at the famous Barry Island.
It’s only natural that Joanna revisits the beach resort frequently used in Gavin And Stacey, as it feels appropriate given its past appearance.
It appears they were enjoying themselves while filming, as Wynne posted a charming photo of them both with the caption “#AllAtSea”.

Over the span of 25 years, this renowned operatic artist has achieved two top-ranking classical music albums, served as a primary performer at numerous prestigious global opera houses, and graced the stage more than 200 times at the illustrious Royal Albert Hall in London.
On BBC Radio 2, Wynne shared with Vernon Kay on Tuesday that he was astonished since it felt like secret operations, involving code names, auditions, and interacting with celebrities. In fact, he considers this whole experience his absolute favorite!
“I’m eagerly anticipating the waltz, the traditional dance in a ballroom setting. With my background in opera, I believe it will be a good fit for me.”
In a show of solidarity for her fellow actor, Joanna reshared the news, expressing excitement by saying: “Look who it is! Let’s dance, @wynneevans!”
Everywhere, viewers are eagerly anticipating Joanna’s return as Stacey for the last installment of the BBC comedy series.
In May, Joanna expressed her joy when it was announced that the beloved character would appear in a farewell episode this Christmas, marking almost five years since the last episode was broadcasted in 2019.
Despite being 47 years old, the actress confessed that she hasn’t gone through the script yet and is unaware of the fate of the cherished characters.
In an episode of her Off the Telly Podcast, she shared with fellow host Natalie Cassidy her enthusiasm about reuniting with the cast, resuming filming, and eagerly anticipating whether Smithy has given his answer.
‘I can’t wait to find out what’s happening to everybody!’
Before chuckling: “I need to safeguard this script from your reach, Natalie, but rest assured, we’ll have a chance to discuss it during our holiday special in December. If you don’t tune in on Christmas Day, I might just be a bit irritated with you!”
