Christina Hall’s ex Josh Hall pays tribute to his friend of more than twenty years after death from cancer: ‘The best human I’ve ever known’

On the very same day, Josh (age 43) reminisced about his long-time friend, Gonzalo Galvez, who tragically passed away, in a heartfelt Instagram post. They had cherished their friendship that spanned over two decades.
‘Today the best human I’ve ever known had his ticket punched by the evil cancer,’ Josh announced.
Showing his lifelong bravery, he was determined not to back down, as he put it. He mentioned that they had regular conversations or encounters with Gonzalo until the very end.
Josh found it remarkable that his long-standing friend consistently refused to quit and kept battling, even in the face of obstacles.

He shared stories about how they quickly developed a strong friendship while serving together at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He also mentioned that Gonzalo appeared more self-assured, even though he was just a few years older than him.
‘I knew this was a guy I wanted as my friend for life,’ Josh wrote.
I fondly acknowledged the enduring impact my departed comrade had on my life by introducing me to a circle of friends who have been with me through thick and thin for over two decades. Reflecting on our friendship, I can’t help but marvel at how much living and learning we’ve crammed into those 23 years – experiences that many people might not be able to fit into an entire lifetime.
Josh made clear that Gonzalo was highly cherished by his friends, since they would take turns sitting with him when he was ill.
He also made a promise to his deceased friend that ‘Raquel, the children, and your loved ones will take care of everything until we’re no longer here.’ (In this sentence, ‘pick up the pieces’ was replaced with ‘take care of everything’ for clarity and natural flow.)

After several weeks following their consecutive divorce petitions, Christina alleged that her separated spouse had moved $35,000 from her account into his, implying questionable financial dealings.
According to legal papers acquired by ET, the HGTV personality asserted that Josh had transferred more than $35,000 from my independent rental earnings into his own account.
In the court documents, she stated, ‘I request that Josh explains where the money was spent and returns it to me, as this money was earmarked for repaying loans, fulfilling obligations, paying property taxes, insurance, and maintaining our rental properties.’
Previously, Christina had been married to Tarek El Moussa, and together they have a 13-year-old daughter named Taylor and an 8-year-old son named Brayden.
