Kim Kardashian files for restraining order against alleged stalker… after American Horror Story costar Emma Roberts’ scary experience with him

The fact that this man not only targeted Emma Roberts but also attempted to contact her mother and even visited her home is a chilling reminder of the dangers that come with fame.

Recently, I’ve found myself in a situation where I feel the need for legal protection against an individual who’s allegedly been causing distress, particularly because he’s previously targeted someone I have a professional connection with. This is not about fear, but about taking proactive measures to ensure my well-being and peace of mind.
43-year-old reality star, known for previous issues with stalkers, recently applied for a restraining order against Melvin Jeffery Conley, as reported by TMZ based on the obtained documents.
It seems that the basis for her concerns about Conley stemmed from a discussion she had with her fellow cast member, Emma Roberts, on the set of American Horror Story: Coven.
At age 33, this actress encountered a disturbing long-distance interaction with an alleged stalker. He invaded his own residence and later made phone calls to her using her home phone after that incident.
Based on Kardashian’s statement, it is claimed that Roberts phoned Kardashian to inform her that Conley expressed a desire to contact Kardashian, as well as Kardashian’s kids.
Instead of being at home when Conley is said to have broken in, Roberts happened to be away. However, she responded to a phone call that came from her house, assuming it was a relative or an authorized person. This interaction turned out to be quite unsettling for her.
She didn’t catch the initial call on her cell phone, but she called back her home number, only to realize that it was a man she had never met speaking to her.
According to reports, it’s said that Conley informed Julia Roberts’ niece that she had granted him permission to reside in her house; however, this was actually untrue on his part.
Despite immediately calling the police, Conley managed to escape before he could be arrested.

Based on his request for a restraining order, it is stated that he went to Kris Jenner’s house, which belongs to Kim, the following day after leaving Roberts’ residence.
There, I found myself mistakenly convinced that I had wandered into the residence of Kim Kardashian, rather than for the intended meeting. I even engaged the security personnel, expressing my belief in the error and hoping they would understand my predicament.
Even though it seemed unclear which house he was referring to, he told the guards that he was Kim’s longtime manager, and even more strangely, claimed to be a professional basketball player on the Toronto Raptors team.
In July, Conley persisted in trying to reach Kardashian, and it’s said that he even went to her Malibu house – a property she doesn’t primarily reside at.
The circumstance that she typically resides in a different place reduced the chance of the suspected stalker reaching out to Kim. However, in her filing, she expressed concern that he managed to find her Malibu home at all, as she finds it hard to locate and asserts it hasn’t been widely publicized compared to her primary residence. This could suggest the intensity of Conley’s intention to connect with her family.
He informed the security guards who detained him at the house’s perimeter that his plan was to climb over the fence.
Roberts was eventually able to secure a five-year restraining order against Conley.
The order additionally ensures the same safety for Rhodes Robert Hedlund, her three-year-old son she has with her ex-partner Garrett Hedlund (an actor), as Conley suggested during their conversation with Roberts. This mention of his name sparked concern that he might have intended to cause harm to her son.
Roberts and Kardashian, who have received positive feedback for their work together in “American Horror Story: Delicate”, are not limiting their collaborative efforts to just this project. In fact, they are also serving as producers for an upcoming Netflix series titled “Calabasas”.
