UK Retail Charts – Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Thumps All the Rest

UK Retail Charts – Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Thumps All the Rest

As a longtime gaming enthusiast who’s seen countless chart fluctuations over the years, it’s always fascinating to witness such peculiar shifts as we’ve got this week! Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate reigning supreme while Assassin’s Creed Mirage slips? It’s like watching a heavyweight boxing match where the underdog suddenly lands a knockout punch.

Despite being absent from the charts the previous week, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, released in 2019 and not the latest Mortal Kombat game, currently leads the rankings. Quite unexpected, isn’t it?

As a long-time gamer with a soft spot for wrestling games, I must admit that this week has been quite intriguing in the world of Xbox gaming. Last week, WWE 2K24 found itself languishing at number ten on the retail charts, but this week it’s moved up to second place. It’s not often that a game can make such a significant leap, and I must say, I’m curious to see if this trend continues.

As a massive fan, I’ve got to say that Assassin’s Creed Mirage seems to have stumbled slightly, dropping from its coveted first spot down to fifth place in the rankings. On the flip side, Grand Theft Auto V appears to be making a comeback, settling comfortably at ninth position. Interestingly, it didn’t appear on the Xbox Series X/S chart last week.

On Xbox One, Red Dead Redemption II is currently leading the pack, having moved up from second position last week. Call of Duty: Black Ops III holds the second spot. As for Desperados III, it’s sitting comfortably at number ten.
