Star Wars Celebration Japan reveals more guests

As a seasoned Star Wars fan with memories of watching the original trilogy in the theater during their initial release, I can hardly contain my excitement for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025! The lineup of celebrity guests is nothing short of phenomenal, and it seems we’re in store for some tantalizing insights into our favorite galaxy far, far away.

Star Wars has announced some new famous faces set to attend Celebration Japan 2025, which may also provide a sneak peek into future series. According to StarWars.com, the fresh names on the guest list include Alan Tudyk, Manny Jacinto, and Daniel Logan.

Tudyk’s intrigue stems from the possibility that his discussions in future appearances could vary based on when Andor Season 2 is released next year. It was decided long before Season 1’s debut that Tudyk would reprise his role as K-2SO. If Season 2 premieres before Star Wars Celebration, we can expect the actor to discuss the series finale. On the other hand, if Andor hasn’t been released yet, we might still get some behind-the-scenes glimpses.

Daniel Logan, known for playing young Boba Fett, is consistently well-received among Star Wars fans. He first appeared in “Episode II: Attack of the Clones” and has remained a significant figure in the Star Wars universe ever since. Later, he provided the voice for his character in shows such as “The Clone Wars.”

Manny Jacinto, recognized as Qimir (also known as The Stranger), emerged as one of the standouts during the inaugural season of The Acolyte. Fan enthusiasm for him was immense, as he skillfully transitioned from a bumbling character to a formidable Dark Sith Lord. Unlike his previous work at Celebration which was kept under wraps, Jacinto now has the opportunity to openly discuss his experience working on the show.

In this event, they’ll be accompanied by other Star Wars luminaries such as C-3PO’s actor, Anthony Daniels, a consistent crowd-pleaser. Additionally, Temuera Morrison, who played Boba Fett in the latest series, “The Book of Boba Fett,” will also attend. Doug Chiang, Lucasfilm’s Executive Design Director, will offer insights into our beloved Star Wars shows. Lastly, Ashley Eckstein, the voice behind Ahsoka Tano, will grace us with her presence.

Star Wars Celebration will be in Japan this year at the Makuhari Messe from April 18-20, 2025.
