Ruth Langsford quips she's 'not a bit sorry' in her new post about her shared dog Maggie amid her bitter custody battle with ex Eamonn Holmes

As a devoted fan who has followed Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes’ journey for years, it is heart-wrenching to see their bitter custody battle unfold, especially over the beloved dog Maggie. Having witnessed their unbreakable bond with Maggie, I can only imagine the emotional turmoil they are experiencing.

In her recent social media update, Ruth Langsford playfully expressed that she feels absolutely no regret, following the contentious child custody dispute she experienced with her former partner, Eamonn Holmes.

Previously known as a star on “This Morning”, now 64 years old, parted ways with her husband in May. It has been reported that due to their ongoing divorce proceedings, Eamonn may lose the care of their cherished dog, Maggie.

In the past few weeks, it seems Eamonn, aged 64, has not been posting about Maggie’s health or updates, as they both have spent time with her following their separation, since she went through a surgery.

Last month, Ruth shared with her audience that the charming mixed-breed Border Collie is on its way to recovery following a procedure to excise a wart.

Over the weekend, the star underscored that she continues to look after her Border Collie. She posted on social media a picture of the dog lounging comfortably at home with her mom.

In the post, Ruth quipped: ‘Another afternoon nap for Grandma disturbed!!’

She then shared another post of little Maggie gazing up at her, adding: ‘Not a bit sorry!’

In 2011, the former Loose Women star and her then-husband Eamonn, aged 64, took in Maggie as their dog. It’s been reported that Maggie acts like a second child for them.

Regarding the ongoing custody dispute, it has been reported that a source mentioned to The Sun: “Maggie holds a special place in their hearts, they truly cherish her. However, as she grows older, they understand she requires consistency. This suggests a desire for stability in Maggie’s life.”

It boils down to deciding who will be able to keep her, as Eamonn deeply cherishes her and Maggie has been an immense source of comfort for him amidst his health issues. The prospect of letting her go is unbearably painful for him.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: “If Ruth manages to increase her outdoor walks, she might just find herself improving Maggie’s condition significantly.”

As a devoted follower, I can share that the ex-pair is striving for a fair settlement, preferably without the need for legal representation.

In May, Eamonn and his wife, Ruth Langford, who are both 64 years old, shared that due to conflicting job responsibilities, their paths had begun to diverge, leading them to make the difficult decision to separate.

They had been together for 27 years and married for 14.

As an ardent admirer, I find myself captivated by the unique bond between these two individuals who share parenting responsibilities for their 22-year-old son, Jack. Interestingly, my beloved figure has three other children, Declan, 35, Rebecca, 32, and Niall, 30, from a prior marriage, expanding their beautiful family dynamic.

Eamonn was comforted during their separation by Katie Alexander, a 22-year-younger woman who also happens to be a relationship counselor, according to reports.

As reported by The Sun, Katie has shared with her friends that they are intending to build a shared future and their close bond has escalated to a higher level.

Last year, Eamonn developed a close relationship with a woman he hadn’t known before. Their initial encounter took place several years ago.

It’s rumored that the broadcaster went on trips with a woman, such as a safari park visit, and showered her with presents. However, it’s important to note that she isn’t believed to have been the cause of the marital issues.

Apart from that, he’s also supported a charity associated with her field of work and graciously offered his services for a charity event without charging any fees.

Without ever disclosing her name, Eamonn has been careful not to share it on his social platforms. It appears that Ruth was unaware of their encounters until quite recently, as reported by the press.

Reputable sources have reported that Eamonn treated his dear friend to a series of luxurious outings, such as attending a Beyoncé concert, spending time at Center Parcs last year, and watching his beloved Manchester United play live at Old Trafford.

It’s clear Ruth understood her marriage was falling apart, but as more information comes out, her sadness is transforming into rage.

‘Eamonn’s friend is bowled over by being lavished with attention and kindness from him.’

Through Twitter, the two crossed paths when the lady left a comment on a post, which led to an exchange of words between them.

It appears that the woman’s counseling abilities, which encompass helping people deal with feelings of sadness and handling separation and divorce, make her a suitable choice for providing support to Eamonn during these challenging times.
