New Eden is at risk in Snowpiercer (and it’s not just from the Animal Squad)
As a dedicated fan who has been aboard the Snowpiercer rollercoaster since its inception, I must say that Season 4 has truly upped the ante with its nail-biting tension and intricate storytelling. The third episode was a masterclass in suspense, weaving together threads from both New Eden and the train itself.
In Snowpiercer Season 4, there appears to be a significant threat looming over New Eden. Upon initial observation, it might seem that the Animal Squad is the culprit, but Alex has drawn attention to an issue of far greater concern.
Caution: This post contains spoiler for Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 3.
In the third installment, we encountered plotlines unfolding simultaneously in New Eden and on Snowpiercer. These narratives are gradually intertwining. The Animal Squad is involved in some mysterious activity, which Ben and Till aim to uncover. Simultaneously, Layton is preoccupied with retrieving Liana from the Animal Squad‘s grasp.
In addition to the immediate danger, New Eden faces another set of threats. One such threat arises from Layton and his team capturing Big Alice. Although Javi managed to modify certain aspects to buy some time, it’s only for a three-week period. By then, Big Alice needs to return. The more pressing issue, however, is not this.
Alex’s nosebleeds mean something in Snowpiercer
It was clear to us that Alex’s nosebleeds indicated a more severe condition. However, when her pet bird died during an incident, it wasn’t due to cold or any related damage. In fact, the bird had completely lost its entire blood supply.
I noticed the bird ventured towards the fringe of the warmth pocket, a movement I anticipated. I suspected it would have perished due to the cold, but what I saw next was far from ordinary – the bird appeared devoid of blood, an observation that gradually began to make sense. It’s becoming increasingly apparent that there’s some mysterious occurrence linked to these warmth pockets causing my nosebleeds, and I can’t help but wonder if it’s somehow connected to this bizarre sight.
It appears that New Eden might not be as permanent as they thought, given that it’s enclosed and bubbles tend to burst. This concern seems to weigh heavily on the scientists and engineers, with Alex setting out on Big Alice for further investigation. Could it be that their time in this place is limited before another freeze sets in? Javi was taken aback by this revelation.
In Snowpiercer, it’s clear that this situation carries a greater threat than the Animal Squad, and unfortunately, there seems to be no solution for the citizens of New Eden to tackle it.
