As a seasoned gamer of life’s intricate narratives, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming Season 2 of “Based on a True Story.” After the nail-biting cliffhanger of the first season, the anticipation has been building like a digital quest in a role-playing game, each new piece of information tantalizingly hinting at what lies ahead.
At the close of 2023, we received fantastic news: Based on a True Story Season 2 was set in motion! This announcement followed the resolution of the writers’ strike and shortly thereafter, the actors’ strike came to an end as well. Consequently, the delay for the season wasn’t significant.
Was it feasible to complete all tasks before the 2024 deadline? Time was indeed tight, but it seems we’re making it work.
Based on a True Story Season 2 release year
According to TVLine, it’s expected that the second season of the series starring Kaley Cuoco will likely debut on Peacock sometime in this year. Peacock tends not to reveal many release dates at once, and typically, they announce new releases around a month prior to the actual date.
Simply put, we’re not planning to launch Peacock in September 2024. Given the programming schedule, it wouldn’t be strategic to compete with NBC’s broadcast releases at that time. There’s a lot of focus on NBC in September. A more suitable timing would be November, as streaming services tend to be less impacted by the holiday season, giving us a chance to release when broadcast shows are taking a break.
What to expect in Based on a True Story Season 2
According to TVLine, the new season will start several months following the conclusion of the previous one. This implies that the baby mentioned earlier has been born!
In the final episode of the first season, it was disclosed that Ruby’s body had been kept in a car trunk. However, you might wonder if Ava and Nathan buried Ruby as they claimed to have done. Indeed, they did, but it seems Matt isn’t pleased that someone else took care of his mess. This revelation came after Ava and Nathan instructed Matt to tidy up his own mess. It appears that Matt skillfully manipulated both Ava and Nathan, and it’s evident he’s not done with such underhanded tactics.
Matt had vowed to abstain from taking lives, but he broke that promise twice during the first season. It seems like his luck can’t last forever in Season 2, doesn’t it? It’s only a matter of time before he gets caught, right? Undoubtedly, there will be some suspicion directed towards Ava and Nathan initially.
