Kanye West fans have the same baffled reaction to rapper dropping new Vultures 2 album ‘without warning’
As a long-time follower of Kanye West’s unpredictable and innovative musical journey, I find myself both amused and intrigued by his latest move to release Vultures 2 at random hours. It’s like watching LeBron James dunk from the free-throw line – unexpected yet mesmerizingly brilliant.
On Saturday morning, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign released their second installment of “Vultures,” titled “Vultures 2.”
Following the surprise release, multiple fans took to X to call the unexpected timing ‘random.’
One individual stated, ‘I find Kanye West’s behavior unpredictable but I admire it,’ while some people expressed similar feelings through memes likening him to the rapper from Chicago.
A spectator employed a compilation of impressive LeBron James dunks, commenting, “That’s how Kanye West seems when he unexpectedly releases his albums.”
The rap duo — Kanye, 47, and Ty, 42 — debuted their initial joint project on February 10.
Additionally, someone posted an archived video snippet featuring West wearing a blue cap and gray sweater, exclaiming “Gotcha!” consecutively on two occasions.

Ty, born Tyrone William Griffin Jr, teased the album earlier in the day in his Instagram Stories.

A few hours later he revealed, ‘V2 LIVE,’ adding a link to the music via Yeezy.com.
Hours before the full-length album came out, the two music artists released the single Slide.
The slide has been under construction for quite a while now; it was initially showcased during a listening event in Geneva last September, as reported by Variety.
Back in December 2023, I had the privilege of being part of the electrifying crowd at Vultures Rave in Miami. That’s where I got an exclusive sneak peek of a full rendition of the tune, which wasn’t due for official release until much later on a Friday night.
Just a few hours prior to the release of Slide, a post emerged on Yeezy.com promising the complete Vultures 2 album for Saturday’s premiere. However, this announcement was subsequently removed.
As a long-time fan of Kanye West and his music, I must say that it was quite an exciting moment for me to learn about him hosting a birthday dinner for his manager John Monopoly earlier this week. Having been following West’s career for many years now, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact he has had on popular culture, and seeing him gather close friends like West, Bianca Censori, and Ty Dolla $ign to celebrate one of his trusted associates was truly inspiring.
John, who is also from Chicago, wrote on social media that the celebration ‘was a vibe.’
Additionally, he shared that the father-of-four gifted him ‘ANOTHER’ Tesla Cyber Truck.
‘I couldn’t make this sh*t up if I tried!’ he emphasized to his 40,000 followers on Instagram.
In the past few weeks, we’ve seen the release of Vultures 2, following leaked images suggesting that Kanye West might be contemplating retirement from his music career.
Information surfaced about the unexpected schemes of the renowned songwriter, as suggested in a purported conversation between him and rapper Rich The Kid.
Rich The Kid (age 31) posted a screenshot on his Instagram Stories that showed text messages he had received from someone identified as ‘Ye’ on their iPhone.
A person, formerly known as Kanye West but now going by the name Ye since 2021 and believed to be from the Western region, shared: “I am stepping away from my career in professional music. I’m unsure about my next steps.”
