As a dedicated follower of sports and pop culture, I must say that it brings immense joy to witness the beautiful love story between Cody Simpson and Emma McKeon unfold. Their bond has only strengthened over time, as they’ve supported each other through their respective careers – Emma conquering the pool with her Olympic medals, and Cody making waves in the music world.

Olympic great Emma McKeon has been tearing up the pool in Paris.

And now Cody Simpson has paid a touching tribute to his swimming champ girlfriend.

On Saturday, the 27-year-old pop star paid a charming tribute to Emma, who has achieved great success as Australia’s most accomplished Olympic athlete, via his social media platforms.

Cody posted a photo of himself posing in a T-shirt emblazoned with the word ‘Emma’.

It also featured multiple images of Australia’s most successful Olympian.

On the t-shirt, there were depictions of Emma, aged thirty, swimming in a pool while displaying one of her numerous Olympic medals.

He captioned the picture, ‘Emma McKeon’ and added green and gold love hearts.

Cody, who came close but didn’t quite make it to the Games, is currently in Paris, cheering on Emma as she competes for an Olympic gold medal.

Earlier this week, Emma announced her intention to retire at the conclusion of this Olympic Games.

Emma’s 4x100m freestyle relay win on the first night in the pool takes her to six golds, one ahead of legend Ian Thorpe.

In total, the lithe stunner has collected 12 Olympic medals since 2016.

Speaking on Nine, Simpson expressed his pride, commenting that everyone is proud of her following Emma’s initial major victory in the swimming competition at the Paris event.

She’ll maintain a modest air regarding her achievements. However, the remarkable things she’s accomplished are quite extraordinary, though she may not openly admit it herself.

I can hardly believe it! This morning, I gave it my all during an intense swim – I was determined to make it to the finals and stand on that podium.

‘I’m so proud of her for getting that done.’

It comes after Cody shared a heartwarming post to social media to celebrate Emma’s gold medal win.

In the video he shared, both the singer and the Commonwealth Games medalist – who had recently won gold in the 4×100 freestyle – showed their special moment as his partner walked up to him mere moments afterwards.

The pair warmly embraced before the two lovebirds shared a passionate kiss.

Cody had a clearly delighted expression as he walked towards his globally acclaimed girlfriend, eventually showing affection openly, surrounded by countless spectators.

He captioned the footage with some sweet words.

‘What a night. No words to articulate my pride, you Olympic Champion,’ he said.

In July 2022, the pair made their relationship public on Instagram, marking the occasion three months following the secret start of their romance.

Last year, Emma and Cody celebrated by buying their first home together.

They spent $1.826 million on a spacious home suitable for a family on the Gold Coast, demonstrating that the high-profile romance they nurtured while preparing for the 2022 Commonwealth Games has indeed deepened significantly.
