Mr Beast acknowledges using inappropriate language in old videos
As a long-time fan of MrBeast, I must say this recent resurfacing of an old video has left me feeling a bit conflicted. On one hand, it’s disheartening to see such language used by someone I admired, especially given his current image as a family-friendly figure. However, we all make mistakes in our past, and I believe that Jimmy (MrBeast) has shown genuine growth and remorse for his actions.
“For quite some time now, MrBeast’s representative noted, he has often expressed his apologies and understood that greater power brings greater accountability,” said the spokesperson for the well-known YouTube personality.
A previously hidden video of Mr. Beast, known for his family-friendly and controversy-free image on YouTube, has recently emerged. In this old clip, a younger Mr. Beast can be seen using language considered inappropriate while engaging with viewers. His representative has confirmed that Mr. Beast did indeed use such language at an earlier stage in his streaming career.
Mr. Beast admits to using Inappropriate Language While Trying to Be Funny
An older video from around seven years ago featuring Mr. Beast has been brought back, showing him using inappropriate language during an interaction with viewers. In this clip, a younger Mr. Beast can be seen reacting to a chat message proposing the sale of people for money. His response was “The most I would pay is likely around 300.”
As a grown gamer looking back, I used to let my youthful exuberance get the best of me, sometimes slipping into inappropriate banter while trying to be funny. But as time went on and my following grew, I realized that with greater influence comes greater responsibility. I’ve learned to be more mindful and sensitive about the power of my words.
Racist and Homophobic Comments
In the video, Mr. Beast is observed addressing a comment from a user suggesting he sell a racial slur for money. His response is, “I’d likely pay around 300 dollars at most. Unfortunately, 400 is beyond my budget for such matters.” Later in the clip, Mr. Beast urges his chat to cease using the racial slur. However, it’s worth noting that he also used a derogatory term towards the LGBTQ+ community during the video.
The video under discussion dates back to the year 2017, which makes it about seven years old. At that time, Mr. Beast was just a teenager. It has been revealed that in this video, Mr. Beast used some inappropriate language. In response to this, his representative stated that he acknowledges his past use of such language.
Rosanna Pansino, a YouTube personality and ex-collaborator of Mr. Beast, shared a video on Twitter. This video emerged following allegations against Mr. Beast, a well-known content creator, that he had an inappropriate relationship with Ava Tyson, who is accused of grooming minors.
Mr. Beast publicly expressed his strong disapproval and revulsion towards certain inappropriate behaviors, stating that he is against them. In response, Donaldson swiftly decided to terminate Ava Tyson’s employment with his company. He also emphasized his intention to give investigators ample time to perform a thorough probe, promising to act accordingly based on their findings.
During the Beast Games, some contestants have voiced concerns about the unsuitable accommodations and dining arrangements. This competition, offering a $5 million prize pool to its 1,000 participants, is set to debut on Prime Video this December.
