As a devoted fan who has followed Jennifer Lopez’s love story like it’s a juicy telenovela, I must say this latest chapter feels like a heart-wrenching twist straight out of a soap opera script. The sight of her wearing Ben Affleck’s green diamond engagement ring on her right hand while absenting the wedding band from her left is as confusing as a Spanish subtitle in an English movie.
On a Thursday night, Jennifer Lopez was spotted without a wedding band on her left hand. However, she wore Ben Affleck’s emerald-cut engagement ring on her right hand instead.
Missing was the wedding band from her Oscar-winning spouse.
This is the first time since she got married that she has not worn her rocks on her wedding finger.
The pair have grown apart and haven’t been seen together for nearly two months, with several outlets suggesting they might soon announce their separation, following a two-year marriage.
55-year-old singer donned a floral frock, crimson stilettos, and a handbag to match, complete with sunglasses, while en route to the Cats preview in New York City.
Her hair was up and her glam was perfect with heavy makeup.
The two have been living separate lives for several months amid speculation their union is done.
Jennifer and Ben have listed their $68M Los Angeles mansion.
He’s already purchased a $20.5 million bachelor residence in Brentwood, which is close to his former wife, Jennifer Garner.
The singer, 55, has been on the east Coast.
She recently celebrated her birthday without her husband.
She’s been attending meetings alone in NYC, while he’s been working at his LA office.
From the years 2005 to 2018, he was wedded to Garner, who is now 52. Together, they have three kids: Violet (age 18), Fin (age 15), and Samuel (age 12).
Rumors about the marital problems between Ben and Jen started spreading in May, as they haven’t been spotted together since March’s end.
According to a source, Ben had already left their shared home at that point, and it seemed they might need to put up their cherished residence – one they diligently searched for over two years – on the market.
As a hopelessly devoted admirer, I must confess that their bond is indestructible – they’ll continue to cherish one another forever. However, I can’t help but lament the fact that she’s powerless over him, and he’s equally unable to alter her ways. Alas, in my humble opinion, it was fated to run its course.
One of Lopez’s friends based in Los Angeles shared with The Daily Mail, “If it just requires effort, then you can be sure that [Jen] will manage to pull through and improve the situation.”
The insider mentioned that she’s deeply invested in her relationship with Ben and won’t let go easily. It seems there’s plenty of affection left between them, suggesting there may be possibilities for reconciliation.
At present, Jennifer is in New York City. She was there not long ago for a celebration of her 55th birthday in the Hamptons.
