It’s focuses on Pip Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers), a young student who isn’t satisfied by the police investigation into a missing teen.
In the context of her project, Pip chooses to delve into the investigation on her own. She initiates conversations with the victims’ relatives and acquaintances, aiming to unravel the facts. The further she ventures, the riskier it becomes for her as she strives to expose the truth.

One Man’s Opinion of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder
Initially piqued by its release, I found myself intrigued by this short six-episode series, each episode lasting approximately 45-50 minutes, making for a quick and easy watch. Given that it’s an adaptation from a book, I expected the storyline to be well-structured and engaging. What truly caught my attention, however, was its genre and premise – reminiscent of the captivating “Veronica Mars”, which revolved around an American teenager investigating a friend’s murder. This new series seemed to share some similarities, igniting my curiosity about how it would unfold.
It turns out that it functions quite effectively. I found Myers captivating as the main character, and I appreciate the fundamental concept. While some of the other characters haven’t yet distinguished themselves after two episodes, I’m intrigued by the idea and the lead actor enough to want to know how the mystery resolves. The series also skillfully incorporates a twist and cliffhanger at the end of each episode, leaving me eager to see what unfolds next.
The program flows smoothly and it doesn’t require much time investment. Given how hectic the closing days of summer are, this brief, engaging series makes an ideal escape as you eagerly anticipate the upcoming Olympic medal events.
