Suits star to lead Yellowstone spinoff
As a long-time fan of gripping western dramas, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming spinoff of “Yellowstone.” The addition of Patrick J Adams to the already star-studded cast is like striking gold in Montana’s rich soil!
Yellowstone‘s next spinoff series has cast Suits actor Patrick J Adams.
In the upcoming series, the actor famed for his role as Mike Ross on the USA Network show is set to feature, reportedly alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, as per Deadline.
The as-yet-unnamed series, taking place in contemporary times and known as “2024“, is slated to start filming this month with a planned release date next year.
According to reports, the story will zero in on matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family, who are relocating from New York to Montana following a family catastrophe (as per TVLine).
The series will pick up where the primary show ends, as it’s set to conclude the second half of its fifth and last season towards the end of this year.
The new spinoff was confirmed at the same time that the main series would be concluding.
As a dedicated fan, I’m brimming with anticipation that our next installment of Yellowstone, under the masterful guidance of Taylor Sheridan, will once again captivate audiences everywhere. This conviction stems from the exceptional talent both Sheridan and our phenomenal cast possess, who breathe life into these remarkable shows. This is according to Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios CEO Chris McCarthy’s words at the time.
Yellowstone’s finale unfolds following the departure of lead actor Kevin Costner, who has subsequently discussed the off-screen tension surrounding his exit and the production of his film titled Horizon.
The performer announced he wouldn’t return in June of this year, sharing with Instagram followers: “Following a grueling year and a half working on Horizon, managing all the responsibilities that come with it, and contemplating my love for the cherished series Yellowstone – a show I adore and know you do too, I’ve come to the conclusion that I won’t be able to participate in season 5B or future seasons.”
He shared, “That experience truly transformed me. I adored it, and I believe you did too. Just thought you should know I won’t be coming back. Yet, I cherish the bond we’ve nurtured, and I look forward to catching up at the cinema.”
As a dedicated fan of the gripping series “Yellowstone”, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming season 5, part 2! Having followed the Dutton family’s tumultuous saga from the very beginning, I eagerly anticipate every new episode, and this time is no exception. The news that the second half of the fifth season will air on the Paramount Network starting November 10 has me counting down the days. But for those of us living across the pond in the UK, we won’t have to wait long to stream it, as it will be available on Paramount+ from November 11! I can hardly imagine a more perfect way to kick off the winter season than by diving back into the wild west world of the Duttons. It’s moments like these that remind me just how lucky we are to have such captivating and high-quality TV shows at our fingertips, and I can’t wait to see what twists and turns await us in the final episodes of Yellowstone season 5!
