TOWIE couple in shock ‘SPLIT’ just weeks after discussing having children and vowing to get married in Vegas
Oh, where do I even start with Harry Derbidge and Joe Blackman? As a dedicated TOWIE fan (and let me tell you, I’ve been through thick and thin with these Essex lot), their relationship has been a rollercoaster of emotions!
Reality TV personalities Harry Derbidge and Joe Blackman, from TOWIE, are said to have parted ways a few weeks after announcing their intention to marry in Las Vegas and starting conversations about starting a family.
Last year, Harry (aged 30) and Joe (aged 24) began a relationship, and they had been adamant that it was growing increasingly strong.
On the contrary, an insider from the TV world has shared with The Sun that the couple has parted ways. This unexpected separation will be featured in the forthcoming series of the ITVBe reality program.
The source revealed: ‘Harry and Joe split up and everyone’s so upset for him.’
‘It was sincerely wished that Harry had discovered true love, but unfortunately, their relationship fell apart. Unfortunately, this heartbreaking event was captured on camera for future episodes.’
‘Everyone is hoping they can get back together and work it out but it’s not looking good.’
Harry’s representative declined to comment.
Previously, it was disclosed that Harry and Joe, who already has a child from a past relationship, have begun contemplating their marriage and even broached the topic of expanding their family through more children.
At the mentioned instance, he conveyed: “He’s settled in with us, sharing our home now… things are going splendidly. We discuss a multitude of topics. We’ve mapped out our future together, and I am certain he is an integral part of mine for good.”
‘We want to have kids one day and get married.’
As someone who has dreamt of a wild, spontaneous wedding since my days as a carefree youngster, I can completely understand this sentiment. The idea of jetting off to Vegas with a trusted friend, eloping in the city of entertainment, and maybe even catching a glimpse of Elvis himself, holds a certain allure. But as someone who has experienced the ups and downs of life, I must caution against letting the excitement overshadow the reality. A Vegas wedding may be fun and memorable, but it’s not without its challenges, especially when considering surrogacy. If things don’t work out as planned, the disappointment could be overwhelming. So while the idea is certainly enticing, it’s important to carefully weigh the potential consequences before making any rash decisions.
Last year, when Harry admitted to finding love, he subsequently posted a collection of affectionate photos on Instagram, which followed this revelation.
Before his relationship with co-star Junaid Ahmed became public, the reality star subtly indicated that he wasn’t available anymore by posting a picture on social media showing him grasping Joe’s leg from beneath a table and adding a heart emoji to suggest affection.
Later, he unveiled that the man was Joe Blackman, while the newly formed duo gleamed for photographs at a bar and Sheesh eatery in Essex.
Besides unveiling his fresh persona, Harry also hinted at his desire for parenthood during a Q&A session on social media.
As someone who has spent years contemplating the idea of parenthood, I can wholeheartedly say that I share Joe’s enthusiasm for the prospect of becoming a parent one day. Having observed his bond with his little boy, I am convinced that he will make an exceptional father, and it is truly heartwarming to witness him in this role.
Additionally, Harry subtly indicated that Joe might appear alongside him in The Only Way Is Essex during their ongoing filming of season 31.
Sharing a fresh selfie of us two, he wrote: “Starting a new week, all set to shoot a new Towie episode! Who else is thrilled about the upcoming TOWIE?”
Earlier this April, Harry briefly dated his friend Junaid, an event that was featured on the ITVBe reality show. However, they realized their friendship would work best if they remained just friends.
Before parting ways with his boyfriend Dean Rowland in October 2022, the reality star had been previously engaged to him, prior to meeting Junaid.
He later had a brief romance with Jackson Lonergan.
